It is clear that the percentage of both genders participating in hockey was the
lowest while the opposite was true for cycling. In addition, the most common
activity for young men was football, meanwhile, cycling was most favored by
women.

There were more females preferring cycling and swimming over males.
Specifically, about 35% of males participated in cycling whereas the figure for
their counterparts was 5% higher. Additionally, the percentage of women enjoying
swimming stood at about 35%, approximately 2 times as much as that of men.

Standing at over 30%, the percentage of males who took part in basketball was
roughly triple the proportion of females participating in that activity. In terms of
playing football, the percentage of men joining this sport took up 51% compared to
only 25% female counterparts. Furthermore, hockey attracted about 11% of males
while the figure for females stood at only 4%.
