Being a good citizen

How can we call someone a good Citizen ? It’s not easy to answer a question like this ,
however ,let’s agree that if you want to be a good citizen , you have to be a good person first. A
good person in someone who is aware of his rights, duties and responsibilities towards his family,
his neighbour, his friend and to his community in general .

I believe that there are many things that reflect your principles and ethics as a good citizen
in your country . when you help others and volunteer to provide your services to them on your
own free will , in this case you are a good citizen. When you help the poor and pay money for
charities and orphanages, in this case you a good person . When you obey the rules of traffic and
government laws in general , you are a good citizen . A good citizen helps the elderly and young
children .He also protect and keeps his environment clear. He treats people with respect and
preserves the dignity of others . Whoever violates the laws of the country will never be a ggod
citizen .

A good citizen knows his rights too, but his rights should never violate the rights of others.
Respecting other’s opinion and faith is also an important part of being a good citizen.

To sum up , I believe that citizenship is not privilege given to everyone but a huge
responsability and burden on the shoulder of every faithful and selfless citizen in this country .
