Ms. Rita Teaotia joined the Indian Administrative Service in the year 1981
and served in the Districts of Panchmahal and Gandhinagar in Gujarat.
Subsequently, she worked in the energy sector as Managing Director, Gujarat
Industries Power Company Ltd., and Secretary (Energy), Gujarat.
From 2003-2007, she worked as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Health &
Family Welfare, Government of India, focussing on Food Safety, Drugs Control
Administration and National Disease Control Programmes.
From 2012 to 2015, she worked in the Ministry of Telecommunications
and Information Technology, Government of India, in the areas of
Telecommunications Policy and Governance. In this capacity, she has worked
on standards, telecom manufacturing and telecom policy.
Over a career spanning 35 years she has worked extensively in both policy
making and practise in varied sectors including Energy, Health, Rural
Development, IT and Telecommunications.
Ms. Rita Teaotia worked as Commerce Secretary in the Ministry of Commerce
& Industry from July 2015 till July 2018. Her special areas of interest were
Standards, Logistics and Government e-procurement.
Ms. Teaotia joined as Chairperson, Food Safety & Standards Authority of India
from 28th Nov 2018.

Domino’s Pizza India is the LARGEST and FASTEST Growing MNC Food Service
Brand in India, with a network of 1230 Domino’s Pizza restaurants, across 279
cities. Also, Domino’s Pizza India is also the LARGEST MARKET FOR DOMINO’S IN
THE WORLD (outside of USA). In February 2011, company entered into Master
Franchise Agreement with Dunkin’ Donuts for developing and operating its

An alumnus of Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, Kalpesh is a
seasoned business leader with 21 years of experience in consumer industry

e-commerce and capability building.
Kalpesh was associated Unilever for the past 12 years. He was most recently
designated as the CEO for South Korea, Pacific Islands and Mongolia, and he

Prior to this, he was designated as the Global Customer Collaboration Director
based out of Singapore. He was the member of Global Customer Development

Design at Tesco and Senior Packaging Technologist at Marks and Spencer.

Mr. Madhusudan Gopalan is Managing Director & CEO of India Sub Continent
at Procter & Gamble where he is responsible for developing P&G’s business,
organization and corporate reputation. He has more than 18 years of experience
working for the company across business units and diverse geographies like
India, US and ASEAN countries. Prior to his India role, Madhusudan was leading
the P&G business in Indonesia where he has led strong sales growth, share turn
around, strong value creation and cash productivity. As a passionate advocate
of diversity, he spearheaded the development of local talent in Indonesia and
under his leadership, the company recently achieved the milestone of having
more than 50% women managers in the workforce. Madhusudan also served
as the Chairman of Indonesia Chapter of US ASEAN Business Council and
advised the Indonesian government on policy matters.
Madhusudan started his career with P&G in India 1999 as a new hire in the
Sales function from Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and worked in
various locations across India including being part of P&G’s first Modern Retail
team in India. His first international assignment was to P&G’s headquarters
in the United States, where he worked with the P&G-Walmart business
team. He returned to India as the Head – Market, Strategy & Planning and
oversaw the rapid growth of P&G’s business that grew 10 times in the space
of a decade. He then moved to Indonesia as Head of Sales where he learnt to
speak the local language, Bahasa Indonesia. Madhusudan later assumed the
position of ASEAN Commercial Leader based in Bangkok, where he oversaw
the commercial category teams across all P&G ASEAN countries and helped
set up P&G’s e-commerce business teams in the region. Post this assignment,
he returned to Indonesia as the Head of the P&G business before taking over
as India CEO.

is to ‘Always keep things simple’. During his tenure, assets of BSLAMC has
grown from approximately Rs 22,000 crores to ever highest Rs. 86,000 crores
in 4 years’ time, moving up the company to rank No. 4 in the industry in terms
of Average Assets Under Management from No.8 earlier.
He began his career as Merchant Banker in 1995. Over the years, he has worked
with organizations such as Prudential ICICI Asset Management Company Ltd as
a founding team member, AVIVA Life Insurance and the erstwhile Birla Sun Life
Distribution, now known as Aditya Birla Money.
While Navin is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Bachelor in Commerce, he
prefers to refer to himself as an explorer, who always in search of implementing
new ideas to bring disruption in the industry and thereby build sustainable
scale.

joined Yum Restaurants International as Senior Marketing Manager where he

At ITC, Sanjay has led the entry of ITC into Dairy category with the launch
