Dear all Concern,

It is observed that seasonal flood water is rising and flow also is increasing. Meanwhile at Br. 47 reinforcement
exposed above pile caps are getting submerged by water(contaminated by chemicals from different nearby
sources). As such I am very much in doubt whether all exposed reinforcement bars will be corrugated and
eventually useless. That means no suitable length of reinforcement with structural strength would have any
splicing/ weldable length resulting 'Total mishap' of the already casted Pile caps. Acceptable protective coating to
be applied to the exposed reinforcement bars immediately.

Accordingly for other structural members already stacked e.g rails at different locations also demand to be
protected against weather action by technically viable method. Otherwise same unfortunate and unacceptable fate
would happen.
Therefore all concerned from PMC and Contractor side are earnestly requested to take immediate action to save
stated valuable works and materials.
It is further point out that if any works and materials due to flood water, weather action or any other means are
damaged or becomes of reduced quality nothing but rejection would be acceptable. Moreover unexpectedly huge
loss of money & time would be concerned on contractor's account which should not be expected.
Therefore all are requested to take immediate action.

Md.Shahidul Islam
