equipment in shutdown like Oil & Gas, Refinery, Chemical and Fertilizer plants, witness and inspection of NDT’s,
failure analysis and conversant with QC requirements for various Manual, Semi Automatic and Machine Welding
Processes and involving materials. Acquainted with various International Codes, Standards and Specification.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFIVCATION:
B.E -Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Anna University -2005, Tamil Nadu, India
D.M.E- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, State Board -2002, Tamil Nadu, India.

SUMMARY OF EXPERIENCES:
10 + years of experience in the inspection field of onshore oil & gas and petrochemical plant, Refinery plant
industries on the following activities. Conversant with international codes and standards such as ASME Sec V, VIII &
IX, B31.3 working with API 510, 571, 572, 576,577, etc.
Assist with developing, implementing and maintaining the inspection and testing plan.
Perform inspection task and schedule monitoring programs to assure the Mechanical integrity of the equipments,
including
Inspecting plant stationary equipment, including pressure vessels, columns, drums, heat exchangers, boilers,
coolers, tanks, and valves and piping systems throughout the plant. Preparation of inspection reports as per client
format Reviewing/Witnessing/Carry out examination and testing at all identified stages of repairs and
modification.
Familiarize themselves with prior history of the vessel they are responsible for reviewing the vessel prior
inspection results, prior repairs, and current inspection plan.
Perform internal & external inspection of vessel in accordance with the inspection plan and provide
recommendations
Determine the corrosion rates, remaining life, and next inspection date for each pressure vessel
Review and update the inspection and NDE techniques required for each equipment, including the extent and
location of inspection and NDE
Hydro test witness and record findings of all type of heat exchangers.
Visual Inspection, Witnessing of Hydro testing & preparing inspection reports for Pressure Vessels, Pipe Lines,
etc.
Inspection of heater/furnace
Inspection of radiant and convection tubes, External scale, Sagging/bulges/blisters, Tube OD measurement, UT
measurement- Tubes and bends, Hardness measurement, Radiographic Inspection, Internal cracks,
erosion/corrosion, foreign deposit, Tube supports and hardware, Weld condition.
Inspection of casing, Weld condition, Insulation/Refractory, Insulation clips, Fire bricks, Inspection doors/ burner
view port, Convection section, Thermo wells, Explosion door condition, Casing condition, Condition of external
coating.
Monitoring the heat treatment methods and reviewing the Inspection Reports and coordinating with the client for
completion of the entire test.
Prepare visual inspection reports and recommend require for repairs/replacements in defective plant equipments
and prepare inspection intervals as per standard.
Conduct and coordinate with NDT inspectors to carry out the NDT method to assess the equipments condition and
review the reports.
Carryout on-stream condition monitoring of plants and QA/QC of all maintenance activities to ensure safe and
reliable operations.
Review the radiography film and endorsement of NDT reports.
Identify the type of corrosion/deterioration to the equipment or piping & initiate appropriate monitoring methods
in consultation with Process & Corrosion Groups.
UT corrosion survey of pressure vessels, head exchangers, columns, oil storage tanks, strainers, flow lines,
transportation lines, manifolds, and collection headers.
To perform the visual inspection of corrosion under insulation (CUI) in H2o & ammonia lines and carried out /
monitoring NDT method such as MPI / LPI and eddy current, to assess the pipe line / heat exchanger tubes
condition.
Conducting and witnessing PWHT, Hardness testing, WFMT, UT lamination & weld scanning and UT thickness
gauging on boilers tubes.
QA/QC activities, QC plan, ITP preparation, Site Co-ordination and Hydro Test Inspection, QC Dossier Preparation,
NDT Sub contractor control, NDT coordination, Customer Feedback monitoring, Monitoring of Calibrated
Instruments, conducting Welder Qualification, Procedure Qualification & Plant T/A Inspection etc
