POSITION: WELDING QA/QC ENGINEER
Responsibilities:
- Inspect parts, assembly, subassemblies in line with the engineering drawing, the
quality management system and special customer requirement
- Responsible for ensuring all parts inspected are done accurately and all
measurements are recorded
- Carried out inspection duties all area of manufacturing and supply chain process
(Raw material, Cutting, fit-up, welding, blasting, painting, packing)
- Identify and report Non-conformance as per Company procedure
- Complete, inspect and distribute all quality record and documents and ensure 100%
traceability
- Liaise with Customer, TPI inspector as required
- Review the Structural specification from customer as per QCS 2014
- Be responsible for preparing Submittal document such as Quality plan, Method

Responsibilities:
- Review of Customer’s order (P.O spec) in order to prepare the tender document
review and technical support during the bid period
- Analyzing the requirement of Customer’s specification
- Be responsible for Technical support to Sale Department
- Be responsible for project requirement, specification and product quality at the
tendering stage
- Be responsible for checking and monitoring the relative documents and reports to
the activities of customer or sub-contractor
- Co-develop and write the Quality management system, Quality procedures and
Work instruction suitable for requirement of ISO 9001, API Q1
- Implement and monitor the Quality assurance and Quality control system.
- Be responsible for maintaining and improving the ISO 9001/API Q1 record,
maintaining the identification and traceability by record or report
- Control the measuring, calibration equipment and tools such as: caliper, dead weight
tester, pressure gauge and other inspection tools
- Check the all the input material into factory before received by Storekeeper
- Review the Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS, PQR, PWHT)
- Review the ITP (Inspection and test plan) , MPS (Manufacturing Procedure
Specification), Work order, Welder Qualifications and quality-related procedure
from project specification
- Monitor the QC team to perform surveillance of manufacturing, welding, NDE (VT,
UT, RT, MT), and witness of all testing work to ensure the best quality.
- Review of Customer's specification for producing line pipe, structural steel pipe,
piping including DNV OS F101, API 5L, API 2B, ASTM A671, ASTM A672,
 - Design and calculate the specification of steel plate in accordance with API 5L, API
2H, API 2W, API 2Y, ASTM A20, EN 10225, AWS D1.1, ASME B36.10, NACE
MR175, and so on
- Knowledge of Welding, NDT (VT, UT, MT and RT) and Painting standards
- Knowledge of Mechanical property testing for Steel and Weld (Tensile test, bend
test, CVN test, DWT test, Macro/Hardness test, Micro test, HIC test and CTOD test
- Knowledge of damage corrosion and erosion mechanism (API 571)
- Knowledge of line pipe design, material selection for line pipe, hydraulic design and
mechanical design.
