What do you think of the designs offered on the Galaxy Note

20 and 20 Ultra?
I enjoy answering questions like these, So please request
these answers from me as I will gladly answer your question.
I believe that Samsung is getting a lot more similar to Apple’s
designs, while iOS is getting more like Android (iOS 14 beta
tester, and these widgets and app-finding menus are more
and more like Android).

Note 20/Plus

In the image above, you could see how similar the back of the
Note 20 looks like the iPhone X series and 11.

As you could see, there aren’t many differences between

their outer-designs.

The Camera is in an outer module from being smug on the

back glass. Now Apple came up with this idea first but it
really seems that Samsung wants to “imitate” Apple’s designs
to “appeal” to those that like Apple’s designs. Now I know
that could be good for marketing, but Samsung used to be so
different from the iPhone that they would actually be easily
differentiated.

Below there is an iPhone 5s and Galaxy S5 for Comparison.

See? Samsung had unique designs, back In the day. But now
they have tried a different marketing technique. Other than
that, It is pretty much the same as the Note 10. :’ (

Galaxy Buds Live

It was a bit of disappointment to see that the Galaxy Buds

Plus did not have any Active Noise Cancellation, So Samsung
had to make it up to us with these pairs since ANC is starting
to become a standard in modern headphones. ANC is just
when headphones listen for the environmental sound,
process it, and play the opposite in your ears to prevent you
from hearing it. Pretty cool, right? When having a Phone call
and want to listen to your Caller without background noise,
it's pretty convenient. Galaxy Buds Plus wasn’t really a “Plus”.
They did almost exactly the same as regular galaxy buds.
Except they had a feature called “Ambient Mode” where it
just amplifies environmental sound. Since this was around
the time where AirPods Pro was released, lacking ANC was a
bit of a letdown.

When I first saw Galaxy Buds Live (I’m going to abbreviate to

GBL), I thought that they looked like my kidneys. But these
kidney-headphones have more to its design. The reason
behind it is for better and a more secure fit. If you didn’t
know, AirPod Pros have a great design. They have a tiny
chamber for letting air escape from your ear canal. Why?
Because when you jam some earbuds into your ear, there is a
gap of air in your ear. The further your earbuds go, the more
pressure is in there. Eventually and slowly, the pressured air
pushes out your earbud. Annoying, Right? I know, we’ve all
been there. But these GBL stick inside the flaps of your ears.
Pretty genius design, but I think that the AirPod Pros are
more practical. They say that there is a mic that might go
down inside your ear when putting them on. Why 2 outer
mics? (ANC hint hint hint ; )
Still, about the case design, it became square. I liked the
Original case design since it could easily slide into my pocket
longways. I think this square case might cause some issues….

Hoped that answered your question.
