I. Call to Order: 3:35pm
A. Ice Breaker (Paige)
- Google forms to get to know our members
B. Fundraisers (Alex)
- We need more information about how HOSA will be like from
the school, so fundraisers will be on hold until then.
- If you would like, please send fundraiser ideas to Alex.
C. Announcements (Minhee)
- Dues are now on the estore $30 (not mandatory)
- A Canvas course for HOSA Members who paid dues will be made
- Meetings will be every 1st Tuesdays of the month
- Broward Regional officer positions are available (due September 7)

- FL HOSA’s monthly awareness months
- August was National Spinal Muscular Atrophy Awareness
month

- September is National DNA, ge-no-mics, and stem cell
education month
- 2020-2022 HOSA Service project is Be The Match
- Begin collecting Pennies for Penny Wars
- Barbara James Service award
- Commemorate the HOSA members who have contributed to
their communities
- Bronze Level: 100.0 – 174.9 approved hours
- Silver Level: 175.0 – 249.9 approved hours
- Gold Level: 250.0+ approved hours
- Not all volunteer hours provide community service. Maybe
double check with Mrs. Boulger for approval

in times like these with COVID-19

G. Blood Drive (Olha)
- The blood drives are currently on hold until further notice
- The Blood Drive Scholarship money will be given to the graduated
seniors.
H. Competitions (Alan)
- Competitions (Regional) may be virtual
I. Guest speakers (Sayge)
- Our chapter’s VP last year, China Simpo, who is now the State’s
Southern Vice-President, Secondary
J. Miscellaneous (Shantall)
- Possible activity where we send videos of appreciation to healthcare
workers working frontline and with COVID-19
- Will be posted on social medias
