PLANT/ FACILITY LAYOUT

December 2, 2020
Continuous flows of process for production is utilized where service and product that

produced are highly standardize. The product that is manufactured from the company delivered

smaller amounts of value to the shop and market at a time. However, it actually allows us to provide

value to customers more often and reduce the time they spend waiting to receive their order.

There are two (2) types of layout that are being used, the process layout and the product

layout. As we can see in Figure 1 the coffee manufacturing utilizes the process layout, where coffee

processing will takes place. The process that the coffee would undergo are the following: selection;

cleaning and blending, Roasting, Grinding, extraction, evaporation, and spray drying after all those

processes the coffee are now ready for filling and packaging and deliver to the shop and market.

In Figure 2 coffee shop make used of product layout where products that are produced from our

coffee factory would be deliver to the market and to our own coffee shop where we also offer

pack/box of coffee as well as ready to drink coffee.
