Introduction to Show
Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2 is a television serial aired on Sony TV. Mohit Kumar and
Kanikka Kapur is playing the lead character in the television serial. The show was
started airing on 10 February 2020. Jai Basantu Singh is directing this show under
the banner of Bindu Moving Images.

A Love story between two people of different worlds, An ambitious boy from
civilian world, who doesn't have any goal in life, where "providing for the family"
and "Earning good money" is the most important thing and a girl from army
background, A family where patriotism, punctuality and sincerity runs deep in their
blood, Where Country comes first even before family Suman, who has been raised
in a disciplined army family wishes to follow the legacy and join army one day to
make her hero, her father and country proud. Shravan is an only son of a rich
father, an apple of her mother's eye raised in a lavish lifestyle. He thinks that
civilians can have the same character and loyalty to the country as an Army person.
Despite the difference between the 2 worlds - of the army that has gallantry, pride
and honor and that of the regular civilian world - love as an emotion remains
the same with its countless colors and shades.

Chapter 2
Story line
Shravan Malhotra, a spoilt and indisciplined civilian teenager, sent to a
military school to learn discipline where he meets Suman Tiwari, a fully
disciplined and ambitious military girl. Initially, both despise each other
due to their different backgrounds.
Shravan dislikes the discrimination between army and civilian students and
the conflicts this often leads to. Suman and Shravan are constantly at odds
with each other as they try to prove the other's view wrong. However,
despite their constant clashes, Shravan falls in love with Suman. He tries to
confess his love to her but hesitates.
Shravan has an argument with Suman's father, and the two families grow
to dislike each other. Several incidents take place, increasing this tension.
Meanwhile, Suman learns about Shravan's feelings for her. She mistakes
this to be just a teenage crush and decides to ask to remain best friends
instead. Shravan is saddened by this but doesn't let on.
Later, Suman and Shravan takes a dance class together. Shravan tries to get
intimate with Suman, but feeling awkward, she leaves, and Shravan falls
for her even more. Shravan finally confesses his love to Suman. Hearing
the confession, she decides not to remain in contact with him, unaware that
deep down, she has feelings for him as well.
Separately, Anish challenges Shravan by placing Suman's honour at stake.
In order to defend her, Shravan takes up the challenge. While the two are
competing, Shravan falls from a high wall but Suman risks her own life
and saves him. The next day, she confesses her feelings for him. The next
day they both go for a date where Suman was kidnapped and later saved by
Shravan. The story continues with further romantic interludes and various
clashes between the two families.

Malhotra, is a happy to go, affluent, indisciplined and spoilt teenager from
civilian background. He was sent to a military school for learning
discipline where he meets Suman Tiwari, a military girl. Initially both
despise each other due to the differences in their backgrounds. Despite
their constant clashes, Shravan falls for Suman and expresses his feelings
to her.
Suman Tiwari, (Kanikka Kapur) daughter of Colonel Vijay Tiwari and
Anjali Tiwari, is a disciplined, ambitious girl who views the world from
the army's perspective as she is brought up in a family of army officers.
She meets Shravan Malhotra, an indisciplined civilian and constantly
clashes with him. However, she starts loving him and expresses her
feelings after he proposes her.

Colonel Vijay Tiwari, (Anurag Arora) Suman's father and Anjali's
husband, is a strict army officer who has received many bravery awards for
his dedication towards his work. He was Devraj Malhotra's best friend but
after having a debate with Shravan, both the families start to dislike each
other.
Anjali Vijay Tiwari (Reema Worah) is Suman's mother and Vijay's wife.
She is very kind hearted lady who is a perfect example of an ideal Indian
wife.
Shubha Saxena replaced Vohra after the show was resumed post-
coronavirus lockdown  [4]

Brigadier Mohan Tiwari, (Ahmed Khan) Vijay and Ramesh's father, is a

retired army officer. He is the patriarch of the Tiwari family. He is very
strict by nature and has defeated Shravan in a Chess match.  [5]
Kanchan Tiwari (Khushi Mishra) is Ramesh's daughter and Suman's
cousin. Initially, she had crush on Shravan but later creates problem for
him.
Ramesh Tiwari (Shiv Chopra) is Vijay's brother and Kanchan's father. His
father, Mohan Tiwari wanted him to become an army officer like Vijay but
he failed to become for which he sometimes regret.
Beena Tiwari (Seema Saxena) is Ramesh's wife and Kanchan's mother.
Malhotra family
Devraj Malhotra, (Akshay Anand) Shravan's father and Kavita's husband,
is the CEO of a defence industry. He was Vijay's best friend but after
Shravan's debate with Vijay, both families start to dislike each other for
which he faced humiliation from Mohan Tiwari.
Kavita Malhotra (Mamta Varma) is Shravan's mother and Devraj's wife.
Like Anjali Tiwari, she is also a caring lady and a perfect example of an
Indian wife.
Avni Malhotra (Takshi Negi) is Shravan's sister.
Rajendra Malhotra (Ahtesham Azad Khan) is Devraj's brother, who insults
Tiwari's after Shravan's debate with Vijay. [6]

Ragini Malhotra (Bhavya Mishra) is Rajendra's wife.

Friends and classmates
Bunty (Jay Thakkar) Shravan's best civilian friend who helps him in
various problems.
Anish (Nishant Raghuvanshi) belongs from a military family. He is
Shravan's classmate and hates him for his indisciplined attitude. The hatred
takes the form of hostility after he starts loving Suman.
Devika (Kashish Kanwar) was Shravan's former girlfriend. Shravan breaks
up with her for the sake of his love for Suman after which Devika joins
hands with Anish and plots against Shravan.
Saheb Singh (Vipul Singh) is Shravan's civilian friend.

Chapter4

Production & Crew

When discussing the creation of a new version of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste,

producer Dilip Jha said, "The response that we had received for Ek Duje
Ke Vaaste was extremely overwhelming. The audience reception made us
bring back season 2 of [the show]. But, it's with a different cast and a
completely new twist in the story. The entire show will be shot in Bhopal,
for which we have received great support from Madhya Pradesh Tourism.
