Course Description

            This course with the standards in the presentation of current and up-to-date concepts in
strategic management. It includes strategic leadership, implementation, and entrepreneurship. It
would enhance the capability of the students to adapt strategic management and strategic
competitiveness as applied and practiced in the corporate world. This course will put emphasis
on methods such as case studies and experiential learning in delivering instructions to students,
thereby allowing them to think critically and develop informed judgment that is doable and
practical in a business setting.

Course Learning Outcomes

            At the end of the course, you should be able to

1. demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the key concepts, theories, principles,


models and practices concerning strategic management.
2. understand the strategic management process of analyzing, formulating, implementing
and evaluating strategies from holistic and multi-functional perspectives.
3. critically analyze an organization’s competitive internal and external environment  and
draw implications for strategy design and implementation for sustainable competitive
advantage 
4. demonstrate effective application of methods , tools  and techniques for diagnosing ,
formulating strategies ,and  developing strategic plans in solving organizational problems
5. Use digital and information skills to select relevant literature and frameworks in the
conduct of research and solving case studies related to strategic management
6. demonstrate the ability to think critically  , develop creative solution , make decisions and
execute strategically  in relation to a particular problem or situation ..
7. demonstrate competence  of  an accounting information system student   as an effective 
corporate strategist.
