 樣子: Gerunds 動名詞 (V-ing)

Infinitive 不定詞to + V

 作用:跟Noun一樣,
可以當(1)Subject主詞
(2)Object受詞
(1)動名詞&不定詞,作為Subject主詞
 例如1:Listening carefully (in class)is very
important.
 例如2:To listen carefully (in class)is very
important.

(2)動名詞&不定詞,作為Object受詞
 例如1:I love listening (to music).
 例如2:I love to listen (to music).
 作用:只有動名詞Gerund 可以放在介係詞後

 句型:介係詞for/ on/ about + 動名詞

 例如1:She is worried about arriving to class


late.
 例如2:He is writing (his report) on (drunk)
driving.
 有些動詞後常會跟
(1)Gerund 動名詞 (V-ing)

習慣性會跟隨Gerund 動名詞
的動詞(V-ing)
consider/ think about 考慮, dislike 厭惡,
dread 非常厭惡, enjoy 喜歡/享受, fancy
喜歡, not mind 不介意, tolerate 容忍,
accept 接受, avoid 避免, deny, 決絕
postpone/ put off 延遲
 有些動詞後常會跟
(2)Infinitive不定詞(to + V)

習慣性會跟隨Infinitive不定詞
的動詞(to + V)

agree/ consent 同意, expect 期望,


demand 要求, intend/ plan 計劃, choose
選擇, prepare準備, decide 決定, hesitate
遲疑, refuse 拒絕, hate討厭
 通常跟Gerund動名詞(V-ing)或Infinitive不
定詞 (to+V)並不會改變意思,

但以下情況意思不太一樣。
 (A)Mary stopped talking to her friends.
(Mary中斷了跟朋友的談話)

(B)Mary stopped to talk to her friends.


(Mary停下她的腳步
為了跟朋友談話)
 通常跟Gerund動名詞(V-ing)或Infinitive不定詞 (to+V)
並不會改變意思,

但以下情況意思不太一樣。
(A)I remember seeing you at my brother’s birthday
party.
 (我記得我弟弟的生日派對上有看到你!)
 記得已經發生的事件

(B)I always remember to pay my phone bills on time.


 (我總是記得準時付我的電話賬單)
 記得要做還沒做的事情
