Design idea

This idea solely base on my idea and the inspiration as well as admiration for Japanese architecture and
aesthetics.

Design objectives:

 To design a tiny house that can endure the tropical weather, to take advantage of the sublime
nature and view of the area also to utilize the natural resources existing in the place.
 To create spaces that embodies a smooth traffic flow with less obstacles.
 To incorporate the visual aesthetic of a modern contemporary style with a fusion of Japanese
details as well as aesthetics through form with cautious use of color schemes and utilization of
materials.

Design considerations:

 Place the building on less hazardous area, proper positioning of the sky light window and wall
windows properly for a better natural light and better ventilation and locate the terrace where
the best view is located.
 Applying the standards and principles of Anthropometrics, Ergonomics and Space Kinesthetic to
achieve the smooth traffic flow of the future tiny house.
 Exert the ideals and aesthetics learned through the different techniques and visuals, applying
Japanese aesthetic by the use of its proper rules and technicalities, proper use of the warm
neutral colors. Additionally, a thorough research pertaining to the wholistic feature of the
building.

Design philosophy:

“less is more” Ludwig Mies Van De Rohe

Less is more indeed, what would you do with full on design with fancy and irrelevant furnitures
or fixtures? It will just be a problem in moving in such tiny house. Make with a purpose with countless
functions and advantages. Growing up my enthusiasm and admiration to Japanese home is always been
intimate with all the interior and exterior design, it is fantastic. A homy experience is very important
quality of a house for better inhabitance. A mother is a home, where we can be fully accepted and find
our best comfort. With this I can apply all the things I learned and apply the modernist approach making
it cozy, timely, simple and elegant.
