MRS. CASIMIRA D. JARABO

Principal, SLMCS BED

Dear Mrs. Jarabo,

Greetings of peace and joy!

The orientation, training and development of our personnel and lay mission partners
are essential towards improving their skills, knowledge, capabilities and competencies
which are required to perform well on the task assigned to them. However, at this
point of time, we are confronted with health crisis brought by the spread of the
pandemic (COVID-19) which affected all educational institutions in the country. This
crisis led to various conformations such as performance gaps, mode of learning,
approach to teaching, curriculum design, etc. This crisis also hindered our institution
to address queries and concerns to the right people (which are usually done thru face
to face interaction) due travel restrictions, physical distancing, and other health
protocols.

Nonetheless, the institution is committed to continue supporting our personnel and

lay mission partners for the success of this school year through the conduct of Human
Resource Development Encounter (HRDE) that will be held virtually (online
asynchronous) spearheaded by the Human Resource Development Office as a
response to the continuing formation of all personnel especially the new ones since
this will also serve as an avenue to orient them about the services as well as the new
administrators for this school year.

In connection to this, we would like to ask permission from your good office to allow
us to gather questions or concerns from your faculty and support service
personnel that would be addressed to a particular unit or department. These
concerns will be answered and clarified on the last part of the virtual presentation as
an alternative for the open forum that we usually have during HRDE.

We are hoping for your positive response regarding this matter. Thank you and God
bless!
