How do we practice stewardship in
maintaining the academic integrity of our
schools?
Certification

All schools with JHS and SHS are compliant to the standards of Private
Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) and
Department of Education (DepEd).

All schools with Elementary are compliant to the standards prescribed by


the Department of Education (DepEd).
Curriculum Offerings

47% of the 15 DLCES schools are offering JHS and


SHS levels while 33% offers all levels: elementary, JHS,
and SHS. The remaining 20% is offering elementary
level only,

For SHS strands offered by the schools in DLCES, 46%


is offering General Academic Strand (GAS), 15% offer
Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics
(STEM), 12% offer Accountancy, Business, and
Management (ABM), 11% offer Humanities and Social
Sciences (HUMSS), 16% offers Technical-Vocational
Livelihood Strands with 8% each for Home Economics
(HE) and Information and Communication Technology
(ICT)

How do we take care of our employees
and personnel?
Professional Development for Academic and Non-
Academic Personnel
The professional development of the Academic and Non-Academic personnel were initiated by the
superintendent. He partnered with St. Paul University Manila and REX Education for the graduate
studies of DLCES Employees.

Last 2021, there were sixty-six (66) graduates in three programs.


Master of Arts in Education – Educational Leadership and Management
Master of Arts in Education – Curriculum Development, Design and Supervision
Master of Arts in Education – Guidance and Counselling

Last 2022, there were three (3) graduates with the degree of Master of Arts in Education –
Learning Management.

Currently, there are five (5) enrolled in SPUM.


One (1) is taking Master of Arts in Education major in Early Childhood Education, the other one (1)
is taking Master of Arts in Education major in Learning Management and the other three (3) are
taking their Doctor of Philosophy major in educational leadership and management.

NOTE: DLCES collects from each personnel a “Bereavement Assistance" in the form of some
cash. Depending on the needs of the bereaved family, the system extends financial
assistance.

This would be done with the recommendation of the Principal or Finance Officer and the
approval of Superintendent – Director.

- Regular Teacher: 30 Calendar Days*
- Regular Office and Utility Personnel: 7 Calendar Days

* 2 to 4 days for retreat/organized outing and also an additional of 2-5 days for office works to
assist at enrollment (by rotation) shall be required of the regular teachers during the month of
summer vacation.

One step up on the salary scale every year may be given to the teacher who stays
on provided he/she gets a very good or outstanding evaluation.

Financial assistance is extended to teachers attending seminars and/or taking up


GLA, MA & PhD studies.

and cluster heads, then proposal, hearing and approval by the BOT
c. Submission of Financial Statement every quarter by each Finance Officer to the
Office of the Superintendent.
d. Mandatory formal audit every year and on the spot internal audit as the need
arises

last 9 years

| INVESTMENT POLICY
Investments are diversified into various investment firms and various types of investments.
Diversification lessens the risks involved in investing the funds of DLCES.
All of the investments are approved and monitored by the DLCES Superintendent and the
Bishop. The funds coming from various DLCES schools are also monitored by their
respective finance officers. All of the funds coming from various schools are consolidated
and assessed by the DLCES Investments Specialist.
