CODING
EARLY CHILDHOOD
CODING
The program aims to teach early childhood pre-nursery,
nursery, kindergarten, grades 1 to 3 the basic of coding
such as sequences, functions, debugging, array,
coordinates, etc. through game-based and app-aided
sessions.
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
CODING
The program serves as follow-up to the basic codings taught during
their early childhood years with more advanced coding lessons which
is needed in giving basic commands for robotics.
The introduction of the basic robotic concept will also be included.
ADVANTAGES OF THE
CODING PROGRAM
Coding boosts your child’s thinking
3 15 European countries have made coding a part of the school curriculum for
children as young as five and has observed better metacognitive
development among their learners.
4 STEM FIELD
Computers and Information Technology jobs are projected to grow faster
than the average for all occupations according to the US Bureau of Labor
Statistics
5 Children will develop real-life mobile apps, scientific simulation, and hardware
like tech-entrepreneurs and scientists.
ADVANTAGES OF THE
CODING PROGRAM
CODING DEVELOPS TOP SKILLS IN NEW AGE
6 Children will advance skills like complex problem solving, critical thinking,
creativity, emotional intelligence, and cognitive flexibility.
ADVANTAGES OF THE
CODING PROGRAM
CODING IS FUN
7 When someone knows how to code, you can create apps, websites, video
games, and control robots
REQUIREMENTS OF
THE PROGRAM
1. Well-designed and well-planned curriculum for Introduction to
Coding and Robotics (Pre Nursery to Grade 6)
2. Coding and Robotics Laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art
handheld gadgets such as tablets or chromebooks
3. Teacher Training for Coding and Robotics
02
ROBOTICS
JHS ROBOTICS
PROGRAM
This will be the continuation of what the child learned in
coding during their pre-elementary and elementary
years. The program aims to develop critical-thinking
innovative skills of each JHS learners in HSA.
REQUIREMENTS OF
THE PROGRAM
1. Well-designed and well-planned curriculum for Introduction to
Advanced Robotics (Grade 7 to 10)
2. Coding and Robotics Laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art
handheld gadgets such as tablets or chromebooks and robot
pieces for simultion activities
3. Teacher Training for Coding and Robotics
03
ADD-ON
LABORATORIES
CODING/ROBOTICS
LABORATORY
A laboratory specially made for
coding and robotics simulation.
Each has newly updated tablets
with coding applications and
games installed to it designed
to cater children from pre-
nursery to grade 9.
COMPUTING
LABORATORY
A library extension which is
equipped with newly updated
tablet carrying e-books, online
and offline resource contents,
and applications which will
catalyze learning.
LIFE LAB
Pivot Years
- Self help
- Art Cooking/Baking
A life and home simulation
laboratory which aims to teach
Intermediate to JHS
learners life skills depending - Recipe Making
on their developmental and - Food Preservation
cognitive levels. (from basic - Baking and Pastry making
self help, household chores,
etc.
basic home repairs etc. - Household chores
- Home repairs
- Home Hacks and Remedies
REQUIREMENTS OF
THE PROGRAM
1. An area to house these laboratories
2. Equipments and Gadgets
3. Enough Funding/Sponsors

PERMACULTURE
PERMACULTURE
To be able to have an in-depth view of the permaculture and systems
thinking concept, it must be added in the Grade 12 curriculum in the first
semester as prerequisite for Entrepreneurship, Research, and SHS Work
Immersion***
