SUBJECT PRONOUN

 Digunakan sebagai (Subject)

 Letaknya jatuh sebelum Verb

Contoh :

1. We study TOEFL and IELTS to apply the LPDP scholarship.

2. The students learn about Grammar and they write an example.

3. A message is sent by Aisyah but it is not received by her professor.

OBJECT PRONOUN

(Me, You, Them, Us, Him, Her, It)

 Digunakan sebagai (Object)

 Letaknya jatuh setelah verb

Contoh :

1. Because B.J Habibie is very smart, many peolpe admire him.

2. There are many cats in our house and we love them so much.

3. Whatsapp is useful so I use it to communicate with other people.

POSSESSIVE ADJECTIVE

(My, Your, Their, Our, His, Her, Its) + [Noun]

 Digunakan untuk menjelaskan Kepemilikan / Kepunyaan

 Selalu diikuti dengan Noun. (Possessive Adjective + Noun)

Contoh :

1. Duck can make nest out of leaves by the plants and its own feathers. [SINGULAR]
2. Ducks can make nest out of leaves by the plants and their own feathers. [PLURAL]

3. When baby reach the age of one, her/his growth begins to slow down. [SINGULAR]
4. When babies reach the age of one, their growth begins to slow down. [PLURAL]

5. Margareth combined dance and piano played in her performance. [CEWEK]

6. Ronald combined dance and piano played in his performance. [COWOK]
7. Margareth and Ronald combined dance and piano played in their performance.
POSSESSIVE PRONOUN

(Mine, Yours, Theirs, Ours, His, Hers, Its)

 Digunakan untuk menjelaskan Kepemilikan / Kepunyaan juga

 Tidak diikuti dengan Noun (Kebalikannya Possessive Adjective)

Contoh :

1. Many people in my village realize that it is the customs of theirs

2. Sometimes, we think that their life seems more difficult than our.

3. After I read my poem in front of the audience, Kartini reads hers.

REFLEXIVE PRONOUN

(Myself, Yourself, Themselves,

Ourselves, Himself, Herself, Itself)

 Digunakan untuk menjelaskan pekerjaan yang dilakukan sendiri oleh si Subject

Contoh :
1. Chameleon can change its skin color in many different places itself. [SINGULAR]
2. Chameleons can change their skin color in many different places themselves. [PLURAL]

3. Plant is able to photosynthesize and produce clorophil itself. [SINGULAR]

4. Plants are able to photosynthesize and produce clorophil themselves. [PLURAL]
