I have performed many duties over my career. My quality of work and how others perceive it means a
great deal to me. I have succeeded with inventory and parts management, shipping & receiving, and
negotiated rates for materials. I am very well organized, comfortable with Microsoft Office products,
and creative with tasks. I’ve safely operated CMV’s for almost 20 years. I still maintain my CDL with X
& T endorsements. I have mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration experience. I get along well with my
co-workers and customers. My references are my former Supervisors and Co-workers who can attest
to my work ethic.

duties include updating and maintaining service records on all the tractors and trailers, ordering parts,
moving equipment to different yards and service facilities as needed. I maintained my Class A CDL

Victoria County Sheriff’s Office
Telecommunications Officer/Detention Officer
Victoria, TX
(361) 575-0651
September 14, 2015 - November 26, 2015

I began my career with the Sheriff’s Office as a Telecommunications Officer. After three weeks of
training, I realized I probably would not have ever become proficient enough to safely take care of the
Deputies whose lives I had been entrusted with, so I gave my two weeks’ notice. I was comfortable
answering the regular phone lines and the 911 lines and continued in this position for another five
weeks until one of the other vacant positions could be filled. My supervisor, Valarie McGuill and Capt.
Rex Mayes thought enough of me to retain me and I transferred to a position as a Detention Officer to
see if I would like that type of a job.

Although it was not a position I desired, I performed my duties in the County Jail to the best of my
abilities and showed a good attitude. After a couple of shift sets I knew I didn’t want to pursue this type
of career any longer. My new supervisor Sgt. Randolph allowed me to work two more shift sets as
enough notice to allow me to leave in good standing.

maximum load. I was also responsible for ordering, off-loading, and staging of all the chemicals to our
warehouse. I performed quarterly inventories and was accountable for the audit of my facility. I
ensured that trucks and equipment were well serviced to reduce any down time. I kept our drivers
current with their knowledge of D.O.T. Rules and any certifications that our company or customers
required were also kept up to date. I assisted the other four managers in our District with their
questions as needed. I have working knowledge of SAP as I was one of the few managers on a pilot
program ordering my own chemicals from the blend plants.
