DESCRIPTION Rationale: This course deals with the physicochemical principles underlying dosage forms and drug delivery systems

Focus: This course focuses on the correlation of these physicochemical principles to dosage form design, preparation, stabilization, evaluation and delivery to
patients

Outcomes: At the end of the course, the students are expected to:
 acquire basic knowledge and skills pertinent to dosage formulation
 apply the physicochemical properties of drugs as they relate to manufacturing and therapeutic response
 interpret theoretical principles in terms of concrete laboratory situations
 analyze and solve accurately problems encountered in drug design
