Bir palto alıyor. He is buying a (or one) coat.

Palto alıyor. He is buying (a) coat.
Paltoyu alıyor. He is buying the coat.

Gazete okuyor. She is reading (a) newspaper.

Gazeteyi okuyor. She is reading the newspaper.

Yemek yiyor. She is eating food (a meal).

Yemeği yiyor. She is eating the food (the meal).

Onu içiyor. She is drinking it.
