This week was spent researching codes and conventions
I have chosen for my music video there isn't really a genre but
my theme is an emotional video because the subject I'm covering
also involves my target audience with 40- to 60-year-old. By
choosing this it has helped me to include among others point of
view which most people in this target audience have children in
their teenagers so it is relevant to them. This also gives me more
to experiment when filming. For my stop motion I have basis on
things my target audience like which is sports, I found this out in
my research to the theme is sporty but with A twist of emotion
and never giving up.
my research this week has helped me identify the different types
of stop motion and the codes are conventions of a music video
and what's needed to make a successful production. I've also
looked at Todorov’s theory.
All of my research I've done this week will help me on all of my
productions, I'm aiming to use a lot of things I've learned so I can
improve my work and make two productions that are both my
highest quality, and so my target audience can enjoy them.
the key conventions of my music video are in narrative, it must
follow a storyline I will be following a linear narrative which
follows the standard storyline structure, a beginning, a middle
and an end. this will help the audience to follow the story
throughout.
