Week 1 This week was spent on idea generation

What have you been asked to This week was spent on idea generation and sending
do? out surveys and putting together focus groups to aid
us in the process of picking the right productions to
produce.

Why have you chosen this target I have chosen to produce for 40-60 year olds since
audience? within my productions I will be speaking about various
different topics such as mental health and work ethic
which a younger audience would not be able to
understand and take lessons from.

What two productions have you I have chosen to shoot a music video and a short film
decided to make? How do they since they would both allow me to push myself within
allow you to improve your skills? Editng, especially in the short film since I have been
working on trying to convey a clearer narrative within
my short films. I also am looking to work on the camera
techniques within the music video since I am filming a
classical cello piece and will want to convey pace
and tempo through camera speed and cuts.

How did the focus groups help Focus groups helped me to gauge how people
you to select your idea? wanted to see the productions while also being able
to see what they expected most from my productions.
They were also helpful in finding out ways to better
convey the productions towards my audience. For
example one of my focus groups suggested I make
sure that the cuts are to the beat in the music video
and is able to flow smoothly.
