Xplore 2021: Fun with Science

✓ Xplore 2021 will be held on Saturday, 27th February 2021 (Since National
Science Day 28th February 2021 is a Sunday).
✓ The displays will be divided into 05 categories: Biological Sciences,
Chemical Science, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physical Science.
✓ Students will be given 10 points under AAA category for participation.
✓ Interested students have to register on the link given below latest by
Monday, 15th February 2021

RULES TO BE FOLLOWED BY STUDENTS WILL BE AS FOLLOWS:

(a) F.Y.BSc: Poster making
➢ Number of students per team: Maximum 02
➢ One Power-point slide:
Slide size: widescreen (16:9)
Slide Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
➢ Time given to Team for explanation of chart: 05min + Questions by Judges 02 min

(b) S.Y.BSc: Poster making or Literature Review
Poster making:
➢ Number of students per team: Maximum 02
➢ One Power-point slide:
- Slide size: widescreen (16:9)
- Slide Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
- Poster has to be in IMRAD format (Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods,
Result and Discussion, References)
➢ Time given to Team for explanation of chart: 05min + Questions by Judges 02 min

Literature Review:
➢ Number of students per team: Maximum 02
➢ One Power-point slide:
- Slide size: widescreen (16:9)
- Slide Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
- Minimum 05 and maximum 07 research papers to be used
➢ Time given to Team for explanation of chart: 05min + Questions by Judges 02 min

(c) T.Y.BSc: Literature Review or Research Project

Literature Review:
➢ Number of students per team: Maximum 02
➢ One Power-point slide:
- Slide size: widescreen (16:9)
- Slide Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
- Minimum 08 and maximum 10 research papers to be used
➢ Time given to Team for explanation of chart: 05min + Questions by Judges 02 min

Research Project:
➢ Number of students per team: Maximum 02
➢ One Power-point slide:
- Slide size: widescreen (16:9)
- Slide Orientation: Portrait or Landscape
- Poster has to be in IMRAD format (Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods,
Result and Discussion, References)
➢ Time given to Team for explanation of chart: 08min + Questions by Judges 02 min
Only for TY Mathematics students:
- Presentation on an important result / theorem/ proposition/ conjecture in Mathematics
