Dynamics [it includes multi-physics, buckling,
frequency, large deformation, automatic contact,
non-linear materials, etc.]
• After the trial period is complete you will
continue to be able to run all features of KCA,
except the mesh size will be limited to 2000
nodes .
• KeyCreator Analysis will continue to work for
one full year from the date you activate your
trial.

create a quality mesh, improved
reliability even with bad geometry
• Small feature suppression added as default
setting to suppress very small element for
extremely small geometry feature.
• Update meshing library is more robust and has
more uniform/smooth tetra/tri/quad meshing.
– In FEA dock, the boundary between the
top tree section and the lower dialog section
can be moved.
– Enhanced shell analysis accuracy even at
low mesh density.

– Improved display of contour temperature
range when minimum value is near 0.0 for
the current temperature units.
– Vector display improvement for principal
stress.
– The contouring on/off state is
remembered when changing tabs.

• Fixes to Analysis
– Non-linear multipliers were sometimes staying around
when the material was replaced by a new material
from the library.
– Shell convection and radiation fixed when different
thickness shells are used.
– Electrical plane strain model that was copied from a
shell model. Shell thickness was still showing up.
(This scenario is unlikely).
– Cutting plane integration fixed in the rare case that
the cutting plane passes exactly through a face
between two interior elements.
– Added warning if a NULL segment is encountered.
