This text is for question 1 to 4

A thick, golden liquid produced by industrious bees, honey is made using the nectar of flowering
plants and is saved inside the beehive for eating during times of scarcity. But how do bees make
honey?

Nectar — sugary liquid — is extracted from flowers using a bee's long, tube-shaped tongue and
stored in its extra stomach, or "crop." While sloshing around in the crop, the nectar mixes with
enzymes that transform its chemical composition and pH, making it more suitable for long-term
storage.

When a honeybee returns to the hive, it passes the nectar to another bee by regurgitating the liquid
into the other bee's mouth. This regurgitation process is repeated until the partially digested nectar
is finally deposited into a honeycomb.

Once in the comb, nectar is still a viscous liquid — nothing like the thick honey you use at the
breakfast table. To get all that extra water out of their honey, bees set to work fanning the
honeycomb with their wings in an effort to speed up the process of evaporation.

When most of the water has evaporated from the honeycomb, the bee seals the comb with a
secretion of liquid from its abdomen, which eventually hardens into beeswax. Away from air and
water, honey can be stored indefinitely, providing bees with the perfect food source for cold winter
months.

But bees aren't the only ones with a sweet tooth. Humans, bears, badgers and other animals have
long been raiding the winter stores of their winged friends to harvest honey.

In fact, until sugar became widely available in the sixteenth century, honey was the world's principal
sweetener, with ancient Greece and Sicily among the best-known historical centers of honey
production.

Honey's color, taste, aroma and texture vary greatly depending on the type of flower a bee
frequents. Clover honey, for example, differs greatly from the honey harvested from bees that
frequent a lavender field.

Why Anger is Bad for Our Health
Expressed anger is not only damaging to our relationships, but also to our health.
There are specific conditions that anger creates within the human body that negatively
affects our wellbeing. These effects are usually said to be risks to our heart, an increase in
anxiety, and a shorter lifespan.
Sometimes when we are angry, we can feel our heart pump harder. This is not
coincidence. Most physically damaging is anger’s effect on our cardiac health. In the two
hours after an angry outburst, the chance of having a heart attack doubles. It is amazing
that just by getting angry, it can mean that a heart attack is imminent.
Furthermore, anger is connected to increased anxiety. In fact, unresolved anger issues
lead to anxiety, which can have long-term effects on our life. Immediate effects of anxiety
might include dizziness, rapid breathing, nausea, muscle pain, muscle tension, headaches,
and problems with concentration and memory. Such symptoms can make it difficult to
perform routine tasks and can add to generalize anger about life. Not only does anger
make us feel bad, it can also produce higher levels of anxiety that is accompanied by many
different symptoms.
And finally, anger affects how long we live. It has been shown that if we have
repressed anger, or passive anger, we can effectively shorten our lifespan. Studies have
shown that those who hold in their anger through many years have shorter lives.
Anger not only demonstrates its damage outwardly through the destruction of
property and people, but also inwardly. This menace causes us to have heart issues, a jump
in anxiety, and even a shorter life. Next time you get angry, keep these details in your
mind.

The Tetraodontiformes are an order of highly derived ray-finned fish, also called
the Plectognathi. The Tetraodontiformes are represented by 10 extant families and at least
349 species overall; most are marine and dwell in and around tropical coral reefs, but a few
species are found in freshwater streams and estuaries. They have no close relatives, and
descend from a line of coral-dwelling species that emerged around 80 million years ago.
Various bizarre forms are included here, all radical departures from the streamlined
body plan typical of most fishes. These forms range from nearly square or triangular
(boxfishes), globose (pufferfishes) to laterally compressed (filefishes and triggerfishes). They
range in size from Rudarius excelsus (a filefish), measuring just 2 cm (0.79 in) in length, to
the ocean sunfish, the largest of all bony fishes at up to 3 m (9.8 ft) in length and weighing
over 2 tonnes.
The tetraodontiform strategy seems to be defense at the expense of speed, with all
species fortified with scales modified into strong plates or spines — or with tough, leathery
skin (the filefishes and ocean sunfish). Another striking defensive attribute found in
the pufferfishes and porcupinefishes is the ability to inflate their bodies to greatly increase
their normal diameter; this is accomplished by sucking water into a diverticulum of
the stomach. Many species of the Tetraodontidae, Triodontidae, and Diodontidae are further
protected from predation by tetrodotoxin, a powerful neurotoxin concentrated in the animals'
internal organs.
Tetraodontiforms have highly modified skeletons, with no nasal, parietal, infraorbital,
or (usually) lower rib bones. The bones of the jaw are modified and fused into a sort of
"beak"; visible sutures divide the beaks into "teeth". This is alluded to in their name, derived
from the Greek words tetra meaning "four" and odous meaning "tooth" and
the Latin forma meaning "shape".

16. What is the communicative purpose of the above text?
A. To conserve Tetraodontiformes.
B. To keep Tetraodontiformes at home.
C. To let Tetraodontiformes live freely.
D. To prohibit us to fish Tetraodontiformes.
E. To describe Tetraodontiformes in general.

17. What can we compare between paragraph 2 and 4?

A. Paragraph 2 tells us about the physical features, while paragraph 4 about its original
name.
B. Paragraph 2 tells us about the physical features, while paragraph 4 about its defense
strategy.
C. Paragraph 2 tells us about its defense strategy while paragraph 4 about its physical
features.
D. Paragraph 2 tells us about its original name, while paragraph 4 about its physical
features.
E. Paragraph 2 tells us about its original name, while paragraph 4 about its defense

B. Tetraodontiform has various kinds of defense strategy.
C. Tetraodontiform has special adaptation strategy.
D. Tetraodontiform has very limited inhabitance.
E. Tetraodontiform has tough body structure.

disadvantages’, so studying abroad is not an exception.

Studying abroad is the best way to improve ourselves. As you know, there are obvious
advantages to study abroad. Firstly, we have chance to improve our language. I think nothing
is better than to learn language with the native speakers. While we live abroad we can
practice speaking with the local people and ask what we study at school, so it is very useful to
improve our listening and speaking skills. It also offers chances to discover the new cultures,
way of thinking, history, custom and lifestyles.

Furthermore, we have opportunities to study the new technologies and most recent science
achievements. In addition, we are equipped with the valuable and updated knowledge which
may help us find jobs easily after graduating.

However, studying abroad is often expensive. We have to pay not only for our school fees but
also for our living cost. Therefore, finance may become the biggest problem. Consequently, it
distracts our mind from studying to earning money.

Last but not least, adapting to a new environment is e real challenge for every foreign student.
While changing the weather can affect our health, different cultures and customs may
influence our mind and make us become less confident or even a victim of discrimination.
Every day may turn into a struggle for survival in a strange country. If we don’t have enough
physical and mental strength, we will fail to adjust ourselves in the new environment. As a
result, we could neither study nor gain beautiful experiences as we have expected.

In conclusion, while studying abroad offers great opportunities for a better future, It also has

The dramatic spread of COVID-19 has disrupted lives, livelihoods, communities
and businesses worldwide. But the sum of many individual actions by stakeholders
around the world will not add up to a sufficient response. Only coordinated action
by business, combined with global, multistakeholder cooperation can mitigate the
risk and impact of this unprecedented global health emergency.
In response to this emergency, the World Economic Forum, acting as partner to
the World Health Organization (WHO), has launched the COVID Action Platform.
The platform is intended to catalyze private-sector support for the global public
health response to COVID-19, and to do so at the scale and speed required to
protect lives and livelihoods, aiming to find ways to help end the global emergency
as soon as possible.

The COVID Action Platform will focus on three priorities:

1. Galvanize the global business community for collective action.
2. Protect people’s livelihoods and facilitate business continuity.
3. Mobilize cooperation and business support for the COVID-19 response.

The COVID Action Platform is opened to all global businesses and industry groups, as well as
other stakeholders, including governments, that wish to team up with the private sector on their
response. The platform will operate a network where CEOs, organizational leaders and designated
COVID-19 corporate responders can offer their help and team up on specific projects, launch
actions and keep each other informed of best practices.
