1. Why should our food intake be balanced?

Our food intake should be balance because our organs need proper nutrition. For it to
work properly, a balance food intake should be present. Without proper nutrition, we can acquire
diseases, infections and poor performance. We can also face difficulties in growth especially for
children and youths.

2. What composes a balanced diet?

A balanced diet should be compose of the three G’s or the go, grow and glow foods. By
this, a balanced nutrition can be acquired. A balanced diet should be compose of, example,
rice/wheat brea (Go), meat/fish (Grow) and vegetables and fruits (Glow).

3. How important do you feel other people’s support is in helping you eat a healthy diet?

People’s support is important to our health also. Having supporting people around us
makes us feel more motivated to continue doing and eating a balance diet and to have a proper
nutrition. In some cases, there are people who criticize what we eat especially when we are too
aware of what we are eating. Having people who supports us to eat a healthy diet, it is more like
helping us to be more healthy and continue to live healthy. In addition, we can also inspire them
to eat a healthy diet.
