Letter of Recommendation for MARLENE VALADEZ

To Whom it May Concern:

It is a tremendous pleasure to be able to recommend Marlene Valadez for consideration for a position
at your school. Ms. Valadez is was a student teacher in both Biology 300 and Biology 200, here at
DGN. I have had the privilege to work as Ms. Valadez’s co-teacher for Biology 200.

Ms. Valadez provides excellent instruction and has a positive attitude while working with the students.
She spends time planning creative and interactive lessons that allows optimal learning in this current
remote teaching setting. Ms. Valadez is very caring and sensitive to all of our students’ needs. Though
this setting is not the “typical” student teaching experience, Ms. Valadez has adapted and has proven
that she is capable of teaching successfully in probably one of the most challenging environments that a
teacher may ever experience.

It has truly been a pleasure working with Ms. Valadez. There are people who can “teach” and there are
people who were born to be “educators.” Ms. Valadez was born to be an “educator.”

It is easy to recommend Ms. Valadez for a position that would utilize her many talents. I certainly have
enjoyed working with Ms. Valadez. She is a professional and dedicated teacher. She will be a
valuable asset to your school.
