 1. Start the driver installation setup program
i.e.”CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.exe”. Select ‘Next’.

2. Select radio button to accept license agreement and continue by clicking on ‘Next’.
3. Select ‘Next’.
4. Select ‘Install’.

5. Select ‘Launch the CP210xVCP Driver installer’ and click ‘Finish’.

6. Select ‘Install’

7. Select ‘OK’

8. Connect the USB port of analyzer to PC and switch on the analyzer.

9. Close all applications. Right click on ‘My Computer’ icon. Select ‘properties’. Go to
‘hardware’ tab. Click on ‘device manager’.
10. Under ports you should find ‘Silicon Labs virtual com port’ as depicted in picture
below’.

11. In multi-XL select the com port number as per port setting in device manager. In this
case we have port number as ‘COM19’. (It may be different in your case.).

NOTE : Muli-XL should always be started after the analyzer is switched on.
