Description of the project

The CCTV tower is 276 m heigh. Steel fibre reinforced concrete needed to be pumped from 0 m to 240 m posi-
tion. The steel columns with casted concrete around them, are reinforced with rebar and steelfibre concrete.
For this project, self-compacting concrete was used.
The concrete on one side of the tower will be subject to high tensile strenght. Although the designers used
rebar to undertake the tensile strenght, they still needed the steel fibres to eliminate the cracks. The Dramix®
steel fibres also work as additional safety.
