Marshall University
wishes to encourage all
students and fans to get involved
and have a little extra fun during our
men’s home basketball games. We want to
make each event special and unique.

To do that, we need your help!

Thousands of glowsticks will be handed out at every
remaining home game but fans are also encouraged to bring their own!
**For the UCF game only**

Green? White? For the final game of the season versus UCF, Saturday,
March 5th, fans should wear the following colors in the following sections:
Green: 103, 104, 105, 106, 107, 108, 109, 110, 209, 210, 211, 212, & 213
White: 101, 102, 111, 112, 113, 114, 115, 116, 201, 202, 203, 204, & 205
The Marshall Fan Plan!
1. At the end of the video board introduction, when Tirrell Baines or Orlando Allen looks out at
the crowd and yells “Aaaaahhhh!!!” we want every fan to yell “Aaaaahhhh!!!” back at him.
2. At the 10:00 mark of the first half, we are asking the south side to start the
We Are… Marshall cheer.
3. When fans hear the Rat-ta-tat-tat... of the Marshall snare drum and cow bell, wait until the
end and scream “HERD!”
4. When fans hear AC DC’s Thunderstruck playing, they should stand and clap in unison.
5. When fans hear the new audio remix of Dj Otzi’s Hey Baby playing, be prepared to join in the
“Oooh - Aaah” portion as loudly as possible.
6. When fans hear a new audio remix featuring the “Nah nah nah nah nah nah” portion of AC
DC’s Thunderstruck, fans should respond resoundingly with “Thunder!” This will loop 4-6 times
at once.
7. During the UCF game, west side fans will be in green while east side fans will be in white.
When west side fans are asked “Who wears green?” fans should reply “We wear green!”
When east side fans are asked “Who wears white?” fans should reply “We wear white!” This
will go on 3-4 times consecutively until it changes to a quick back and forth of “Green! - White!
- Green! - White!” For added emphasis, fans are encourage to turn to their left or right and
face the opposite color fans! The student section and cheerleaders will lead this cheer.
The Marshall FAN PLAN encourages all fans to follow the lead of the band and cheerleaders
in an effort to get involved with the GREEN! - WHITE!, H-E-R-D and M-A-R-S-H-A-L-L cheers.
