The more exciting or stressful the situation, the more likely the individual is to hallucinate. When in such a situation, the character must make a successful Sanity check or hallucinate. Common hallucinations are: ordinary objects, which do not exist, people nearby or passing when there are none, voices giving the character information or instructions, abilities or form which the character does not really have (strength, sex, wings, etc.), threatening creatures appearing from nowhere, etc.. Unless stimulated or under stress, the character acts normal. Hallucinations will then commence and continue for 1d20 turns after the excitement/stress passes. This malady is often confused with some great ability to see into the ethereal plane.
