I will introduce and show you the two 00:12;08
different devices that my son uses to
measure and read his blood sugar level
in his body. This is a Poking device
and this is the Dexcom G6
I will introduce and guide you on how 00:18;05
you can use the Poking device 
First of all, you should ensure that
everything you need is available such
as the ACCU-CHEK Guide meter, Test
strip, finger Poker or Lancet device,
and Lancet drum as well as cotton balls
with isopropyl alcohol.
Before getting started, wash your 00:21;17
hands. Place a new Lancet drum on the
Lancet device and make sure that you
have used all the 6 Lancets before
replacing it with the new one. Then, set
the penetration depth to match your
skin by turning the dial on the cap of
the lancet device, he adjusted the dial
on number 4. 
Then, grab the fresh new test strip and 00:36;28
insert it into the meter. After that,
sterilize your finger and let it dry then
place the hole pin against your finger

the first blood drop by using a piece of
dry cotton then massage your finger
like this to help the blood appear.
Then, touch the edge of the strip to the 00:07;11
blood drop. Finally, the meter will give
you the reading of your blood sugar.    
This is Dexcom G6. It is Continuous 01:00:23
Glucose Monitoring (CGM) that gives
a reading of glucose level subcutaneous
every 5 mins. Also, smartphones help
us to identify the glucose level by
alerting us when blood sugar is being
raised or dropping low. In addition, you
can share the data with 10 followers.
You should know that Dexcom G6 is
placed for 10 days in the body after that
you will remove it and replace it with
the new one in order to avoid any
scarring or skin irritation and let your
skin heal. One more thing, when you
insert the sensor ensure that the chosen
area of your body is away from the
bone, scarring, tattoo, hair, or
irritation.

Before touching any materials make 00:16;19
sure your hands are washed and dried.
Peel off the label from the adhesive and
put the number that is on the label of
the applicator on your smartphone and
press save in order to get the reading of
glucose level from the sensor.
Clean the area where you want to insert 00:42:00
the sensor by putting the rubbing
alcohol on the designated area and
allowing it to dry. Place the applicator
on the skin then remove the safety
guard in order to press the button to
insert the sensor.
Then, you take away the applicator
from the skin and you will see the
sensor on the skin. then rub around the
patch to make sure it is stuck to the
skin.
Wipe the transmitter with an alcohol 00:17;19
wipe and let it dry then attach it to the
sensor in order to send the glucose
reading to the smartphone.
