University, Lucknow. ABESEC has been established with an objective of providing

About Civil Engineering Department:
The Department of Civil Engineering at ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad is the most
important branch for Civil Engineering aspirants. The department has shaped numerous
distinguished engineers who have made momentous contributions in the planning and
execution of Civil Engineering projects in India as well as abroad. The Department offers
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, a four-year comprehensive program designed by
APJ AKTU, which provides the latest facilities to learn all the competitive skills of Civil
Branch. The intake of the department every year is 120 students. The Department is well
equipped with all the necessary equipment in the laboratories as prescribed by the
UPTU. Utmost attention is paid to conduct experiments and to groom the students to
meet future challenges
Objectives of Training:
A detailed introduction and development course for modelling and designing using
Autodesk Revit. This course consists of an introduction to Autodesk Revit and using
modelling tools to create residential, commercial and industrial units. Introduction to the
National Building Code and modelling in Revit following the code provisions. Detailed use
of Revit in creating views and rendering views to the cloud. This coursework is aimed to
inculcate collaborative and coordination-based modelling which reflects the industry's
approach towards Autodesk Revit. In addition to learning design skills, this course
provides tutorials on drafting standards and using Autodesk Revit to create clean and
error-freedrawings.
The main topics include:
• Understanding the purpose of Building Information Management (BIM) and how it is
applied in the Autodesk Revit software.
• Navigating the Autodesk Revit workspace and interface.
• Working with the basic drawing and editing tools.
• Creating Levels and Grids as datum elements for the model.
• Creating a 3D building model with walls, curtain walls, windows, and doors.
• Adding floors, ceilings, and roofs to the building model.
• Creating component-based and custom stairs.
