MESSAGE OF SUPPORT

The Regional Peace and Order Council XII, together with the Provincial Peace and Order
Councils in Sultan Kudarat, Cotabato, South Cotabato and Sarangani, MANIFEST OUR
SUPPORT to Barangay Development Program (BDP) of the national government in relation to
Executive Order No. 70 institutionalizing the whole-of-nation approach in attaining inclusive and
sustainable peace and creating a National Task Force to end local communist armed conflict.

Democracy welcomes opposition and struggle from among its people but not for quite a
length of time that will prolong the agony and deprive the people of its blessings. This is the
opportune time to give our people the panorama of peaceful and serene environment vis-a-vis
adversity we have confronted for number of years.

Enough is enough! Let us not be burdened anymore with consuming time trying to
change them or win their approval which should have been allocated to our people. It is high
time to involve ourselves proactively in embracing the effort of the National Government to end
insurgencies and other armed conflicts and threats in our respective places of abode to pave way
in bringing prosperity and development to our locality, as well as to our people.

We jointly, ardently and strongly support, as much as we appreciate, the effort of the
national government and the dedication of all stakeholders in bringing to end local communist
armed conflict.

With these, we reiterate and reaffirm our commitment to support the programs of the
national government that will make a difference in our people’s lives.

We’ll stand by this affirmation!
