Good Day! All we know that “Typhoon Tisoy” may cause destruction in our Municipality any
time of the day and even to the next 48 Hours. Disaster preparedness refers to measures taken to
prepared for and reduce the effects of disaster. It also provides a platform to design effective,
realistic and coordinated planning, reduces duplication of efforts and increase the overall
effectiveness of Provincial Societies.

Preparation activities embedded with risk reduction measures can prevent disaster situations and
also result in saving maximum lives and livelihoods during any disaster situation, enabling the
affected population to get back to normalcy within a short time period.

In this matter the following names are hereby requested to standby and be a part of PDRRMO
QRT to be deployed in the Municipality of Looc, Occidental Mindoro from December 2, 2019
until the situation is under control.
