Standard and techniques found in common productivity and software applications
in ICT content for specific professional tracks.
B. Performance Standard The learners shall be able to: at the end of the 2-week period
independently apply advanced productivity tools to create or develop ICT
content for use in specific professional tracks. These may be in the form
of, but are not limited to:
1. Calculating spreadsheet of athletic statistics (sports)
C. Learning Uses common productivity tools effectively by maximizing advanced

The teacher will show the PEMDAS (Parenthesis, Exponents,
Multiplication, Division, Addition, and Subtraction) then learners will
identify those symbols.
The teacher will ask the students to bring out their laptop, open it, and
open the Microsoft Excel application.
The teacher will ask the students to type and compute the following using
the Microsoft Excel application.
1. = (8^2) + 6
2. = 8 + 8 + 10 – 9
3. = 4 * (5 * 5) /2 + (4^2)
4. = (10/2) + 50 * 5 * (45^3)
The teacher will ask the students to do their own 10 examples using their
laptop and after 10 minutes, they will save their own work in the teacher’s
flash drive following the given format:
LASTNAME, FIRST NAME

For those students who do not have a laptop, they can ask their
classmates if they can use their laptop once they are done following the
health protocols – social distancing.
The teacher will show pictures and the learners will decide whether the
given photo or image is appropriate to the given statement. If the given
technique fits the given photo, the learner will use this sign
On the other hand, the learner will use this sign to showcase that
the given statement does not fit the given picture.
As a Senior High School student, at what point in your life do you use

The learners will be asked by their teacher to make their own
computation showing the PEMDAS rule. The learners will provide 3
sheets in Microsoft Excel and each sheet should have 15 examples.
Once the learners are done with their assignment/output, they will send it
to the teacher’s email given to them already in the second quarter.
