    hereby declares that the three phase induction motors and the brake motors belonging to the
    following series:

    SM 56÷225
    BM 56÷132 (DC brake with rectifier with RFI suppressor)
    BA 71÷225 (AC brake, DC brake with rectifier with RFI suppressor)

    are in conformity with the provisions of the following Council Directives:

    “Low Voltage Directive” 73/23/EEC (amended by 93/68/EEC),


    EMC Directive 89/336/EEC “Electromagnetic Compatibility” (amended by 92/31/EEC and
    93/68/EEC)

    and are in conformity with the following harmonized standard:

    EN 60034-1

    Additional information:
    The motor installation and its maintenance must be realised in conformity with the requirements
    stated in the use and maintenance booklet and with the EN 60 204 “Electrical Equipment of
    Industrial Machines” standard.

    Certificate of Incorporation (Directive 98/37/EC)


    The machines above must not be put into service until the machinery into which they have been
    incorporated have been declared in conformity with the Machinery Directive.
