CAESAR FOR CANBERRA

Canberra is an absolute privilege of a city to live in, having called it my home since 2017 I may not be
Canberra’s longest residing resident but I am certainly very proud to be so welcomed and enjoy the
opportunities this great city brings.

I have always had a strong sense of community, growing up in country Victoria has taught me the
importance of giving back to your community for whatever you put in you can hope to get out. This
is why I am on my Local School Council serving as President, it is also why I am a member of the
Canberra Show and Canberra Theatre’s Board of Directors giving my time to help improve the
culture and environment of this city.

However, I also believe that much more can be done to improve this wonderful city of ours.

Right now, the Canberra hospital is still in need of further investments and upgrades. The health
system more broadly is still facing substantial issues such as shortages of doctors and limitations on
treatment, forcing patients to seek treatment in Sydney, Melbourne or in extreme cases Adelaide.

The first few stages of the Light Rail network in Canberra has been a huge success however much
more work is needed to be done, our bus network is still in need of work and improvements to
infrastructure such as duplicating or building new roads must continue to be a high priority.

The education system in the ACT has continues to show notable problems and has for a number of
years. Nothing is more important than our kid’s future and it is why we need to further reform,
improvement, and investment to ensure students in Canberra’s schools are meeting and exceeding
the national standards.

And while our nation’s capital is a global leader in renewable energy and tackling climate change,
much more can always be done to do our part for our planet.

I believe that we can deliver all of these things, not simply by taking an ideological but a practical
approach. In identifying the issues, listening to experts and going to get the job done. It is for these
reasons and more that I am announcing my candidacy for this years Canberra By-Election. I believe I
have the skills necessary to work for the interests of our community and deliver outcomes so that
every Canberran can enjoy the greatest quality of life possible in capital of this great nation.

So please support me in helping make Canberra the greatest city in Australia!
