CONSULTANCY SERVICES.
Given the importance of processes in which protection and control packages are installed, especially with system integration projects, consultancy
becomes significant in terms of sizing and selecting all of the components correctly and safely. Consultancy includes calculating design efficiency,
electromagnetic compatibility, overload calculations, short-circuit calculations, protection logic etc. It is not understood as a one-directional service but
as interaction with the client who we encourage to participate in designing the resulting solution. Joint participation is part of our company’s philosophy
with personalised service forming the basis of our relationship with our clients. This collaboration stretches beyond supplying our equipment, covering
additional services that complement the scope of supply of each individual project.

ENGINEERING.
Electrical engineering includes basic and detailed design as well as choosing key components such as cabling, connection switchgear, etc.
Furthermore, the high adaptability of the protection and automation systems and their built-in logic make it possible to configure and program software
functions in accordance with project specifications.

MULTI-CONTINENTAL MANUFACTURING
Ingeteam has production factories in Europe and Brazil, enabling us to optimise manufacturing costs and streamline our aftersales service.

COMMISSIONING
Commissioning includes starting up delivered systems, checking that both the equipment and its functional features are working optimally, and making
sure that they meet the requirements defined in the project.

TRAINING
During training, besides familiarising the user with how the equipment works, the maintenance staff will be able to increase their knowledge of
substation automation systems and power electronics so that they are able to perform preventive and corrective maintenance unaided during the
useful life of the installation.

Substation Automation
Ingeteam offers a full range of products, solutions and software for substation automation following the latest trends in the industry. With over 20
years’ experience and more than 1000 substation automation systems in service, Ingeteam’s solution permits a high level of availability, enhanced
reliability and full flexibility to ensure easy implementation of substation automation solutions as per the user’s requirements. Ingeteam’s range
includes Bay Control Units, Protection Relays, Substation RTUs & Gateways, Substation HMIs and their corresponding software tools.
IED’s
The INGEPAC™ EF IEC 61850 native platform includes the
following digital multifunction protection and Control IEDs with
numerical technology:

· INGEPAC™ EF TD: Transformer Protection and Control

All of the INGEPAC™ EF platform models can include graphic
HMI/Mimic display, programmable push buttons and bay control
functions for users who want to integrate protection and full bay
Substation RTU & Gateway
INGESAS™ IC3 combines RTU and Gateway functional features,
allowing the implementation of substation control logics as well as
communication with upper SCADA levels. The INGESAS™ IC3 is a
multi-protocol platform (IEC 61850, IEC 60870-5-101/104,
Modbus, DNP 3.0, etc.) suitable for most of the substation
automation applications. Its main functions are as follows:
· Storage of all the information within the substation t(alarms,
statuses, measurements, counters etc.) in a database.
· Exchanges database information with higher levels: control rooms,
SCADA centers, etc.
Substation HMI / SCADA
INGESAS™ IT is a substation automation HMI/SCADA solution that
optimises substation control, operation and maintenance, allowing
multiple tasks which can be defined and customised as per the
user’s requirements:
· Substation’s primary equipment operation and control
· Dynamic graphical representation of the substation
· Status data and measurement display of all the equipment within
the substation
· Alarm definition (including priority level), management, display and
acknowledgement.
· Data retrieval & export (events, trend curve measurements, etc.)
from all the substation bays
INGEGRID TM
INGEGRID is a set of power electronics based flexible solutions to
improve the energy efficiency all along the power grid system.
It includes static compensator (STATCOM), energy storage systems
(ESS), transmission and distribution lines power flow control (SSSC)
and stand alone hybrid solutions.
Benefits
· T&D: Voltage support, frequency compensation, ancillary services,
emergency back-up, T&D lines congestion relief, time shifting, power
control functions in the same IED. For dedicated IED control
solutions, Ingeteam has developed the INGEPAC™ EF CD model,
which is a bay control unit with advanced measuring capability
(Class 0.2) which allows full control a substation bay at any voltage
level (MV, HV, EHV).
All the INGEPAC™ EF IEDs are fully programmable, allowing IEC
61131-3 control logic implementation for any possible requirement
within a substation: switchgear control and interlock; automatic

voltage regulation, synchrocheck,
schemes; breaker failure schemes, etc.
INGEPAC™ EF platform IEDs can include up to 6 serial ports and
two redundant (Link failover / PRP / HSR) IEC 61850 ports,
ensuring outstanding performance in any communication topology
(Serial and/or Ethernet)
· Receives commands and set points from control rooms, SCADA
centers, etc. and sends them to the corresponding IEDs.
· Implements substation control Logic with IEC61131-3 compliant
tools
· Synchronises all the devices connected to the communications
network via the SNTP protocol.
INGESAS™ IC3 is a high-performing modular system designed for
substation environments, providing high reliability and availability
thanks to its redundancy mechanisms: redundant power supplies,
PRP/HSR redundancy, Hot-Hot / Hot-Standby schemes, etc.
Software Tools
Ingeteam has a comprehensive set of tools called INGESAS™ EFS,
for configuring and operating an automated substation in
compliance with the IEC 61850 standar, allowing cost and time to
be minimsed during both engineering and operational phases.
