A. Tujuan Pembelajaran
1. Dengan metode Problem Based Learning peserta didik mampu membedakan
fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan beberapa teks diskusi (discussion)
lisan dan tulis dengan memberi dan meminta penilaian terkait film/buku/cerita, sesuai
dengan konteks penggunaannya (3.11)

2. Peserta didik mampu menangkap makna secara kontekstual terkait fungsi sosial,
struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks diskusi (discussion),lisan dan tulis, terkait
film/buku/cerita (4.11)

B. Langkah Pembelajaran (60 menit)

1. Guru memulai pembelajaran dengan berdoa, menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya dan
mengecek kehadiran peserta didik melalui google meet/zoom meet maupun aplikasi
SIPINTAR.
2. Peserta didik mampu mengerjakan Student’s worksheet dengan tepat dengan
menjawab pertanyaan pemahaman teks Part A .
3. Beserta guru, peserta didik mendiskusikan hasil kerja pada student’s worksheetPart
A
4. Peserta didik mampu mengerjakan student’s worksheet part B dengan tepat.
5. Bersama peserta didik, guru mengulang pembelajaran hari ini dan menyampaikan
tugas
6. Guru menutup kegiatan dengan doa bersama.

A. You will hear the beginning of the public meeting discuss a new bypass. The
bypass is necessary to help solve the traffic problem in nearby city. However
people who live in the countryside where the bypass will be built are unhappy.
Listen to the recording carefully and then complete the reports below!

The name of the city is Stockton and the name of the area the bypass is run
through is Lee Valley

1. The City councils feels the bypass is needed to take traffic away from
the city centre
2. The best place for the bypass is through the Lee Valley
3. The Lee Valley is close to Stockton, the ground is ideal for road
building and it’s the cheapest option.

1. The Lee Valley is the most beautiful, unspoiled area of the region that
must be protected and preserved
2. The Lee Valley is an important historical site
3. The locals do not want many vehicles passing by their home because
it will cause too much pollution

B. Writing
After listening to the conversation, build up the text/essay of what you have listened. Try to
make it in at least consisting of 4 paragraph (introducing, point of pro, point of contra,
concluding/closing) with your hand writing. Compile to your leader cause he/she will put
