Main Menu screen
Selecting the "Menu" button (1) brings up the main menu screen.
Note: The "Payload" application is preselected by default.
Payload Application
Home > Menu > Payload
Main Menu screen
From the Main Menu, select the "Payload" application button.
The Payload Application contains most of the functionality of the Cat Payload system. See the "Payload
Settings" section for information on the menus and functions of the Payload Application.
Dispatch Application (Optional subscription, requires Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Dispatch

Main Menu screen
Example Site View screen
1. From the Main Menu, select the "Dispatch" application button to open the Site View Menu.
The Site View screen displays the zones at the current site. Each zone tile shows the number of trucks
in the zone, and the time for the truck that has been in the zone the longest.

2. Select a zone tile to open the Zone Summary view. Select the "Site View" button to return to the Site
View screen.
The Zone Summary view lists the "Truck ID", "Material ID", "Target Weight", and the "Time In Zone"
for each truck in the zone.
Inform Tile

From the Main Menu, select the "Inform" tile to open the Totals Menu.

From the Main Menu, select the "Settings" tile, then select "Payload" to see the Payload Settings Menu
options.
Simple Calibration
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Simple Calibration
Simple Calibration screen
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select "Simple Calibration".

2. Select an entry from the "Simple Calibration" list to open the Simple Calibration adjustment screen.
Here the simple calibration can be adjusted using the actual weight of the truck.

Tip Off Mode
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Tip Off Mode
Tip Off Mode screen
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select "Tip Off Mode".
2. The tip off trigger may be set to one of the following options:
Disabled
Auto
Manual
3. The tip off mode may be set to one of the following options:
Truck
Stockpile

Weigh Range
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Weigh Range
Set Weigh Range screen
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select "Weigh Range".
2. From the "Set Weigh Range" screen, use the Increment bar to set the "Lower Limit" percentage:
To decrease "Lower Limit", select the "-" Button . When a desired number appears, select "OK"
to set. The newly set number will appear in white text. "Lift Cylinder" will appear as a fixed
percentage on the page.
To increase "Lower Limit", select the "+" Button . When a desired number appears, select "OK"
to set. The newly set number will appear in white text. "Lift Cylinder" will appear as a fixed

Auto Truck ID (available with Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Auto Truck ID
When the Auto Truck ID feature is enabled, a list of available trucks is displayed when the Store button is
pressed.
Note: The truck that is selected with Auto Truck ID is the next truck that will be loaded.
When this feature is disabled, the truck selection list can be manually accessed by navigating to Home >
Menu > Settings > Payload > Lists > Truck.
1. To configure Auto Truck ID, select the "Menu" button, then select the "Settings" tile.

2. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select the toggle switch for "Auto Truck ID".
Auto Material ID (available with Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Auto Material ID
When the Auto Material ID feature is enabled, a list of materials that are available for selection is displayed
when the Store button is pressed.
Note: The material selected with Automatic Material ID is the material that will be loaded in the next truck.
When this feature is disabled, the truck selection list can be manually accessed by navigating to Home >
Menu > Settings > Payload > Lists > Material.

1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select "Printer".
2. From the "Printer" screen, select one of the options:
Truck Summary - Prints a summary of the current truck.
Totals (available with Cat Advanced Payload) - Opens the Totals screen. Individual totals can be
printed from the Totals screen.
Last Stored - Reprints the last stored ticket.
Printer Tickets - Adjusts the number of tickets that will automatically print when the "Store"
button is pressed.
Sound Horn On Store
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Sound Horn On Store
This feature is not applicable to Medium Wheel Loaders.
Auto Store Passes (available with Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Auto Store Passes
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select "Auto Store Passes".
2. On the "Auto Store Passes" screen, the user may specify the number of passes that the Cat Payload
system will Auto Store.
Note: The Auto Store default is 50 passes.
Multi-Task Mode (available with Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Multi-Task Mode
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select the toggle switch for "Multi-Task Mode".

2. When "Multi-Task Mode" is enabled, two new buttons will appear on the home screen. Multi-Task
mode enables the following functions:
Allows the operator to track payload data and totals for two different trucks at the same time.
When the operator selects a second truck, the payload data for the inactive truck is paused.
The operator may select any or all unique IDs associated with the selected truck. When the Store
button is pressed, only the payload data and totals for the active truck and the selected IDs will
be stored.
The operator may switch between the two trucks whenever desired.
Manual Add (available with Cat Advanced Payload)
Home > Menu > Settings > Payload > Manual Add
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Payload", then select the toggle switch for "Manual Add".

2. When "Manual Add" is enabled, the "Standby" button on the home screen will change to a "+1"
button. The bucket payload will not transfer to the truck total until the operator selects the "+1" button.
The function of the "-1" button does not change.
Display Settings
Home > Menu > Settings > Display
Display Settings Menu structure
Select "Display" from the "Settings" tile to open the Display Settings menu.
Select the back button on any screen to return to the previous screen, or select the "Menu" button (1) to go
directly to the Main Menu.
Language
Home > Menu > Settings > Display > Language
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Display", then select "Language".
2. Use the scroll buttons on the right side of the screen to move through the list of available languages,
then select the desired language.
Brightness
Home > Menu > Settings > Display > Brightness
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Display", then select "Brightness".
2. Use the"(+)" and "(-)" buttons to increase or decrease the screen brightness to the desired level.
Units
Home > Menu > Settings > Display > Units
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Display", then select "Units".
2. Select the desired unit of measurement system.
Weight Units
Home > Menu > Settings > Display > Weight Units
Note: The Weight Units option will only appear when the display units are set to English.

1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Display", then select "Weight Units".
2. Select the desired units of weight.
Date/Time Format
Home > Menu > Settings > Display > Date/Time Format
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Display", then select "Date/Time Format".
2. Select the desired date format and the desired time format, then select "OK".
Dispatch Settings (Optional subscription, requires Cat Advanced Payload)

Select "Dispatch" from the Settings Menu to open the Dispatch Settings menu.
Time in Yard Threshold
Home > Menu > Settings > Dispatch > Time in Yard Threshold
1. From the "Settings" tile, select "Dispatch", then select "Time in Yard Threshold".
2. Enter the "Time In Yard Threshold", then select "OK". When a truck is in a zone longer than the "Time
In Yard Threshold", the time shown on the site view page will change color.
Site
Home > Menu > Settings > Dispatch > Site
Site selection screen
From the "Settings" tile, select "Dispatch", then select "Site". The site must be selected only during initial
setup, and when a machine begins work at a new site.
Service Tile

From the Main Menu, select the "Service" tile to open the Service Menu.
Note: Some menu options are not available until service mode has been enabled.

Enhanced Navigation (available with Cat Advanced Payload)

The Analysis Display Module software includes navigation features that allow the operator to access
common functions and find information quickly. The enhanced features include the following:

Searchable lists
Home Screen Shortcuts
Home screen
On the Home Screen, select any unique ID. The relevant list screen will open directly:
Select the Truck ID to go directly to the Truck List
Select the Material ID to go directly to the Material List
Select the ID area in the center of the Home screen to go directly to the Lists Menu
For more information about lists, see "Editing Truck and Material Lists" in this manual.

Dispatch application functions area
From the Main Menu, select either the Payload or Dispatch application. A functions area on the right side of
the screen will appear. Select a function from the functions area to go directly to the relevant screen.
Sortable Lists
Example Material List screen
On any list screen, select a column identifier in the header row to sort the list. Select an identifier multiple
times to cycle between ascending order, descending order, and original order.
Searchable Lists

1. On any list screen, select the "Search" button.

2. A search screen and keyboard will open. Start to enter a search term using the search keyboard. When
the desired list entry appears, select the entry, then select "OK". If the desired entry is not on the list,
the search screen also includes the "Edit" button. Select the "Edit" button to go directly to the "Add
Entry" page for the current list.

Payload Modes
Normal Mode
Home screen during normal operation
Standby Mode
Home screen with payload in "Standby" mode
In "Standby" mode, the Standby button (2) will appear on the screen with the bucket weight. While in Standby, the bucket weights
will be measured, but not stored to memory. If enabled, Overload Warnings will also show while payload is in Standby.
