This document provides instructions for using a worksheet that involves students predicting aspects of their future and the future of the world. The worksheet contains questions about where students will live in 10 years, what their family will be like in 15 years, how they will use English in the future, if humans will meet aliens, and what transportation, work, and shopping will be like in 15 years. The instructions explain that the teacher should first show students just the pictures on the worksheet to name and discuss. Students then individually choose one picture to focus on and take notes about for one minute before discussing their ideas with the class.

the future. How will it be? our world in 15 years (transportation, work, shopping) How to use this worksheet? I usually use this worksheet like a warmer, it’s a great way to involve Ss into the educational process at the beginning of the lesson because they like beautiful pictures and if they see something they like, they are ready to discuss it for hours. At first, the teacher shows children just photos (he/she covers the task itself) and Ss name pics. If children don’t know these words, they should practise the question “How do you say _______ in English?” After it, children choose one that they like (everybody chooses different one), then T opens the task itself, Ss read out their option and think about it for 1 minute (they can take some notes in the notebooks). Then, Ss talk (you can set the time limit, e.g. for 1 minute because it’s important if your Ss prepare for the exams). Completely editable.
