Dear Parents,

As announced, the current academic year will resume at all HHS Campuses From 8 th June till
10th July 2020, through online classes. Please find below, further details about the online
schooling plan and procedure.

1. HHS will be using Google Classroom for online school. An HHS Gmail account has been
created for every student, and each student has been added to their Google Classroom. The
email addresses and passwords to be used for logging in will be sent by SMS to all parents
on June 1st and 2nd. Students must log in to the HHS Gmail account to change their passwords
and accept the invitation to join Google Classroom.

2. Classes will start from 8th June, as per the first week timetables provided for each Class
along with this circular. To make it easy for students and parents, keeping in mind sharing of
devices and a new online environment, we have tried our best to keep the study plan flexible and
simple. Students can use the coming week to explore the Google Classroom platform and watch
the tutorial videos, before classes begin.

3. From 8th June onwards, students will have Live Sessions and/or Uploaded Assignments from
Monday to Friday, as per their timetable.

i ) Live Sessions: Live Sessions will be conducted through Zoom. The Zoom Link will be
provided in the Google Classroom, and it can be used to join the live class. The student must also
mark their attendance for the Live Session on Google Classroom. After the Live Session, the
teacher may assign a short assignment on Google Classroom that students will have to submit by
the deadline.

ii) Uploaded Assignments: Along with Live Sessions, teachers may upload Assignments
directly to Google Classroom. These assignments are small tasks that will consist of resources
(such as videos, articles, PowerPoint slides) and an assessment (typed answer, MCQ, etc).

All assignments will be uploaded at 9am on the day indicated on the timetable, and they must be
submitted before the deadline. Teachers will be available from 8am to 12pm to answer any
queries through Google Classroom.

Once you receive the SMS, please remember to log in to the HHS Gmail account to change your
passwords and accept the invitation to join Google Classroom, and use the coming week to
explore the Google Classroom platform and watch the tutorial videos, before classes begin. For

We would like to remind you that HHS will aim to promote all students, provided that they
complete their online work and maintain proper attendance at online sessions. Completion of
Online Class Work will contribute to 20% of students’ final grades.

We realize that this is a time of learning and new experiences for students, parents, as well as
teachers. We hope to work together to approach online school with patience, goodwill, and
enthusiasm, and to support each other so that our students can benefit!
