Introduction

It is proven that a healthy diet, exercise and resting the right hours are important
pillars to maintain a healthy and active life; Food is essential to have an adequate
state of health, and specifically is the basis for the prevention of chronic non-
communicable diseases such as obesity, cancer, high blood pressure, diabetes
mellitus, dyslipidemias, among others.
Healthy lifestyle:

Healthy life is understood as that way of life in which the person maintains a
harmonious balance in their diet, physical activity, intellectual, recreation
(especially in the open air) rest, hygiene and spiritual peace.

Being healthy depends on each one and the way you care for the body. Perform
physical activity, rest well and maintain an abundant and varied food plan is some
of the most important things to achieve this goal.

That the foods consumed provide the necessary amounts of nutrients is essential
to enjoy good health. However, this varies from one person to another, so it is
always recommended to consult with a specialist.
Eating a balanced diet without excesses is one of the keys to a healthy life.
Incorporate daily food of all groups and perform at least 30 minutes of physical
activity
- Make 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner) include vegetables,
fruits, legumes, cereals, milk, yogurt or cheese, eggs, meats and oils
What we should do to have a healthy life
- Perform moderate or continuous physical activity every day to maintain an active
life

- Eat calm, if possible accompanied and moderate the size of the portions

- Choose prepared foods at home.


--During the day drink at least 2 liters of water.

- To wash food and cook, water must be safe.

- Consume 5 servings of fruits and vegetables every day in a variety of types and
colors.

- Eat at least half a plate of vegetables at lunch, half a plate at dinner and 2 or 3
fruits per day. Its consumption decreases the risk of obesity, diabetes, colon
cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Eat with little salt And eat cereals.

Things we should not do if we want to have a healthy life:

• eat fatty food.


• eat food with high sugar content.
• do not exercise.
• eat with lots of salt.
• Drink little water.
• Drink drink appropriate.
• Eat fried food.
• Do not eat processed foods because they contain a large amount of sugar.

Activities you can do inside and outside the house to have a healthy life:

• go to the gym.
• go for a walk.
• Dance.
• eat with the family as long as it includes vegetables and fruit.
• do yoga.
• Swim.
• practice sports
Conclusion
Food is the daily fuel to perform all the activities of our routine, and deserves like
all other actions, of a special time and dedication, and is that the simple act of
eating, is locked in a cultural framework influenced by different factors such as the
age, the economic condition, the habits and customs of each region, the type of
physical activity that we perform and the state of health; Depending on the
condition of each person, an adequate selection of food must be made, since all of
them are needed, there is no longer a single food that provides all the nutrients the
body needs.
