ASSGNMENT 1B: LEADING AND WORKING LIKE TEAM

In the age that things are constantly changing, when the problems, works and tasks are updating day by
day. The ability to learn and work together is particularly important. This assignment will reveal the
efficient ways to leading and working like the amazing team.

Firstly, nowadays the teamwork skill has the tremendous changes. In the past, when the word “team”
was defined like the group of people working together with the same goal, the group of people working
with each other for the long time and they know each other extremely closely, the satisfying example is
the football team. However, when every things regularly changes, when we have to constantly update
to adapt with the age, the teamwork skill is the ability to connect, work with other people whom we do
not know about. Furthermore, teaming is the process of taking risk, learning from others, fixing and
learning from the mistakes. It is the complex process with lots of different tasks and different persons so
that the leader and leadership skill is particular important to make this process can work effectively.

To make the amazing team the leader have to make sure that every brains of the team are used. That
mean the leader have to produce the environment that everyone have opportunities to ask question, to
be curious, to share the ideas and to be ready to be the little leader, that called the safety in team. There
are three ways to create the safe spaces for the team.

Firstly, the leader and the members of the team have to frame the work like the change to learn. That
mean everyone knows what they want and where they have to go but they do not know how to do it,
they do not know the way to get there so that every member have to sit together to find the way, find
the ideas to have the best plan to achieve the goal. And in this way everyone will have the opportunities
to learn from each other, it can create the tremendous power for the team members because they
know that they can not go alone to be successful.

Secondly, the leader have to show for each members of the team that no one is the perfect person,
show that the leader do not know everything. This action can create the positive feeling for every
member of the team, this make they feel more confident and can feel the meaning of them when they
come to the company, and they can receive the intensive motivation the motivation come from inside
them if they know the important of their roles in the company. Furthermore, this action can make all the
members feel safe to raise their voice so that more and more ideas can be produced.

The last, using question to lead the team is really important and necessary. This can produce the
curiosity for the members of the team so that they can find the solutions by their own. The next time
they will know how to ask their question again and try to find the solutions by themselves.
