The idea of our progam comes after thinking about a worldwild problem ,it’s all about the food

waste . More than 1 billion Tons of food have been wasted globally this year .that’s why we thought
that we should react against those loses . So we found that the best way to do that is by
converting it into organic fertilizer.
It’s done withing two steps :
-Shredding : helps in Volume Reduction & easy processing of Wet Waste and also helps in
accelerating the conversion process.
-Conversion: After the Waste is Shredded it enters the tank where the actual conversion
takes place through the mixing, air circulation and heating mechanism .The heating system
maintains a temperature range in which the bacteria thrive, thus accelerating the conversion
process.
And after some research we found that this whole process can be done by fully automatic
machines which required the human intervention just in the feeding process and then It
produces up to 1 ton of soil supplement within 24h ready to be sold.
But the real problem is how will we promote and sell these organic fertilizers ? Because as
we know morrocan farmers do not use digital tools, so we have decided to collaborate with
them by providing our products ,so in one hand we can make sure of their promotion and in
the other hand we will produce healthy food
And to summarize all the NFW progam ,let’s present the business model :

1. Value proposition :
Why NFW PROGRAM ?
For Farmers
-the farmer will surely gain more than he used to because we produce
higher quantities of fruits and vegetables and he won't do a lot of efforts
-we will provide the farmer with a sophisticated experience since he
is going to know more technical information about his land with the help of
competent laboratories.
For wholesalers
- we produce bio fruits and vegetables which are rare on the market.
-we add a certified fruit stamp on the products to ensure the client
that the produced fruits and vegetables are certainly organic.
customer segments :
Our program is targetting modest farmers and local workers so we can improve job
opportunities and decrease the percentage of poverty in a specific area, and everyone who is
looking for healthy food.

Key partners :
Our key partners will include
+Restaurants and supermarkets from where we will collect the food waste by providing them
with plastic trash bins
+farmers by introducing our services by supplying them with goods, grains, supervision
services and handling the selling operation.

Key activities:
Our main activities will include:
+ Collecting food waste from restaurants and supermarkets such as fruits, vegetables, meat,
fish, bakery items, eggshells, leaves and gardening waste.
+ production of the soil compliments after the feeding, shredding and the conversion process.

Key Resources:
 As key resources ,we found that it’s necessary to make a brand we can be known
with ,in order to valorize the produced food which is not chemically fertilized.

 It’s important also to have a local were the process will be done :
o + depot of collected food waste
o + food composting
o + depot and selling of the produced fertilizers.

 And of course workers including :


o + the collectors of wasted food from restaurants and supermarkets,
o + the production team who will make sure of feeding machines and storing process
o + the field workers who will be hired locally according to farmer’s needs ,which may
help on the economic recovery in the countryside
Customer relationships:
o What concerns the partenership with farmers, we have decided to
make an agreement with them, which resides in providing compost,
seeds… and hiring local employees to work in the farmer land .
o After putting the tickets on the agricultural crops, which shows the
credibility of our product, we will sell it directly to many wholesalers.
And to make them our daily costumers, we will keep contact with
them, as to know if they appreciate our merchandise.

Channels
o In order to have more income sources, we are going
to sell a part of the produced compost in our depot.
o Then, the produced fruits and vegetables will be
wholesaled in the market.
Cost structure :

1) Compost production

 To start our business we need : composting machine , garbage truck,


trash bins.

That will cost about 600 000 dirhams


 After we start, every month we will need at least 44 500 dirhams to
cover the charge of employees, factory rent, electricity ,fuel, cell phones
bills…

2 ) Collaboration with farmers


As we know to collaborate with farmers we will provide 4 principal services :
- supplied compost
- Laboratory Services
- transport
- workforce
That’s why, in short terms : the cost of each collaboration will be between
( 10 000 dhs - 20 000 dhs ) .
Then in long terms : ≥ 20 000 dhs

Revenue Streams :
 Selling compost :

The production cost of 1 kilogram of compost is about : 1,48 dhs


So if we sell 1 kilogram with 1,9 dhs , we will earn at least 0,42 dhs in each
kilogram
Well, by producing 30 tons each month, means 12 600 dirhams of benefit
 Collaboration with farmer :

the percentage of profit depends on the nature and quantity of service and the
capital invested during the collaboration .
In general the profit marge will be between ( 5% - 12% ) of invested capital.
