7 CAUSE AND EFFECT UNIT 7

I. Materi: SEBAB AKIBAT (KD 3.7 dan 4.7)
3.7 menerapkan fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan teks interaksi
transaksional lisan dan tulis yang melibatkan tindakan memberi dan meminta
informasi terkait hubungan sebab akibat, sesuai dengan konteks penggunaannya.
(Perhatikan unsur kebahasaan because of ..., due to ..., thanks to ...)

II. Tujuan Pembelajaran:

Setelah mempelajari modul ini siswa mampu :
1. Siswa mampu merespon teks lisan dan tulis ungkapan sebab akibat melalui listening /
tagihan lisan
2. Siswa mampu menganalisa fungsi sosial, struktur teks, dan unsur kebahasaan dari
ungkapan sebab akibat melalui diskusi kelompok
3. Siswa mampu membuat ungkapan sebab akibat lisan dan tulis melalui praktek

III.Indikator:
1. Mengidentifikasi fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan dari ungkapan
sebab akibat yang didengar melalui tape recorder / speaker
2. Merespon ungkapan sebab akibat yang didengar
3. Menjelaskan fungsi sosial, struktur teks dan unsur kebahasaan dari ungkapan sebab
akibat
4. Menyusun teks lisan tentang ungkapan sebab akibat secara mandiri
5. Mempraktekkan ungkapan sebab akibat secara mandiri

EXPLANATION OF CAUSE AND EFFECT

There are many ways to express a cause, why something happen:

Because (conjunction) Means: for the reason that (karena alasan)

Pattern: because + sentence
Example: I will not come to the party because I got headache
 Because of (preposition) Means: as a result of (akibat dari)
Pattern: because of + Noun
Example: I will not come to the party because of the
headache
Due to (preposition) Means: caused by (disebabkan oleh)
Pattern: due to + Noun
Example: I will not come to the party due to the headache
Thanks to (preposition) Means: akibat dari ( bermakna negatif )
Pattern: thanks to + Noun
Example: I will not come to the party thanks to the headache
