Praise be to the presence of God Almighty. For His grace and


guidance, the author was able to complete the assignment of the paper
entitled "EFFCT" on time.

Papers are prepared to fulfill the assignment of English Subject. In


addition, this paper aims to add insight about Effect for readers and
also for writers

The author would like to thank Mom NELLI OKTARIZA as an


ENGLISH subject teacher. Thanks are also extended to all those who
have assisted in the completion of this paper.

The author realizes that this paper is still far from perfect. Therefore,

INTRODUCTION

A. Meaning of effect
the same as cause effect we can see in noun or
verb sentences, noun means a change that is the result
of an action or cause, while in effect verb it is written
as affect which means to produce an effect or cause a
change in something

•effect (noun) an effect and impact that occurs from


an activity or event
example: the weather has am effect om jet emotion
•affect (verb) an activity that allows an impact or effect
to cause something to happen
example: teh weather affect jet emotion

B. GENERIC STRUCTURE
1. Have the main idea in the topic sentence that will
be discussed in the whole paragraph
2. have supporting details or supporting sentences in
the form of causes
3. ends with a concluding sentence or a conclusion in
the form of a result

C. LANGUAGE FORM
1. Using tenses that depend on the context of time in
sentences, in other words, it can be in the form of
past tense, present or future tense
2. Many use active verbs or verbs in active and
passive sentences
3. Using transactions such as due to because
accordingly as a result and causes
4. using third person point of view

D. characteristic features
1.is a result or consequence of an action
2.the answer to the question what happened
3.occurs in the order after cause

2.PURPOSE

The purpose of effect is to find


out why the topic being discussed,
understand how the topic being discussed
affects certain aspects of life and how
people respond to it.

A. EFFECT FORMULA

Connector : due to, owing to because of, as a result of,


as a consequence of
Formula 1 : connector + cause + effect

example: Due to the storm we cannot go to the


beach

Formula 2 : effect + connector + cause

example:I got sick due to the cold weather
