TITLE: Six Features of a Curriculum and Approaches to Curriculum Design

Technically, this very informative lesson helps me to realize the value of knowing the six
features of a curriculum and approaches to curriculum design because it focuses on teachers,
students or learners, knowledge, skills and attitude, strategy and methods, community and school
performance who are cater on the features of a curriculum. As a future pre service teacher I
thought that this feature of a curriculum is so valuable because we need to know and understand
the features of curriculum for us to have a wider understanding about our chosen profession.
Moreover, for us to be able to know what feature of curriculum we are going to utilize that will
suit our learner’s expected needs. And also, on the approaches to curriculum design in may
perspective as a student it caters what approaches that teachers and students should be able to
apply in every learning process made.

However, every of these approaches to curriculum design are help us to build our
potential, knowledge, skills, and learning as a learner or as a teacher because these approaches
build every of us to know what we are aiming for, to commit the right path and direction for us to
learned something useful and relevant based on the curriculum and subject matter.
