The ICT Literacy and Competency Development Bureau (ILCDB) of the Department of
Information and Communications Technology (DICT), will be conducting a Webinar on
Cybersecurity Competency Framework, on November 02-06, 2020 from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00
P.M. via Google Meet.

The Cybersecurity Competency Framework is a seminar-workshop that is about the questions of

understanding on the legal, management, and technical capabilities to deliver and support the
key result areas of cyber security. It deals with the control of the information security risks of a
business enterprise or government agency. It also provides the foundational framework on what
are considered by rules and standards in concept, principles, organization, life cycle, process,
documentation, metrics and technologies of securing the people, data, application and
infrastructure of the enterprise or agency against cybercrime and data privacy breach.

The Cybersecurity Competency Framework is intended for Data Protection Officers and
Information Security Officers of the enterprise or agency.

In line with this, may we invite your office in this undertaking and recommend one (1) participant.
Since there is a limited number of slots, may we request that your office confirm the attendance
